  1. too many leafs. can you snap a photo of the underside showing the tips of all the leafs?
  2. it is a shame that they went from offering so much interior variety that you could realistically get whatever you want... to: you can still get whatever you want, as long as what you want is grey or maybe tan.
  3. yes, black is ground if the middle wire is skinnier than the others, that's your signal wire.
  4. the ground is one of the wires in the harness coming off the truck. there should be 3 wires. ground, power and signal. the ground runs all the way back to the taillight. the pump only gets power for a couple seconds if the key is turned to "run".
  5. were you checking for power while the key was turned to "start"? power to the pump is not available with the engine off. were you checking for power at the fuel level sensor wire instead of the power wire? did you check the ground wire at the pump for ground? if you disconnect the power cable running to the starter you can have someone turn the key to "start" without the engine actually cranking and making a bunch of noise.
  6. absolutely! send me an address and send the CC a donation and I'll send it your way. if there's anything else on your wish list let me know.
  7. I should have one somewhere...
  8. these little retention wedges are super easy to squeeze too hard and snap off.
  9. yay! someone with the guts to slice and dice the foam!
  10. seat foam is removable. back foam is not (at least not by design). I just recently converted an 88 to having headrests by swapping out the back portion.
  11. very common unfortunately.
  12. those are some gooooood lookin' rims.
  13. if anyone thought doing a timing belt on a front wheel drive car was hard, the PT Cruiser's tiny engine bay wants you to hold its beer.
  14. there's a guy making brackets to put 6.5s behind the seats in the 4x6 location
  15. they all are. old trucks are old.
  16. gotta love raisin' the next generation on old Jeeps.

    I win :D

looks like a standard torx bolt. it spent a decade in the salt and had nothing left of the splines. I intend to take it to lowes and see what exists in a stainless variety.

    I win :D

after removing the rotted exhaust and drilling a 2" access hole in the side of my CRD Liberty's wheel well, I was able to use a Kobalt 3/8" bolt extractor to remove the rusty metric bolt that holds the CPS in. tomorrow I'll try replacing the CPS and then work on the new exhaust.
  19. it does look silver with a green reflection but I couldn't tell for sure on my screen so included it.
  20. these them?
  21. well, we're going to hope that some light daily driving will free it up. if not, I'll swap the calipers later. I handed the truck over to the owner today. bitter sweet, but it's not like the project is over. lol. Jeeps are never finished. (stereo and 4wd swap coming next, but not for a bit)
