  1. those dang customers... always getting in the way
  2. I've been happy with the Auxito brand led bulbs I've using in more modern cars (turns and brakes). I get them off ebay. you can ditch the sealed beams by upgrading to aftermarket housings that take replaceable H4 halogen bulbs. (I'm not a fan of LED headlights). also get this so you can get a full 12v+ to your headlights: https://www.ebay.com/itm/185254776653
  3. key parts make factory style replacements plus separate lenses to swap on to you housings. ebay will also have a variety of used housings. the flasher relay just replaces the turn signal pots in the fuse box. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=jeep+comanche+taillights+key+parts&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_odkw=jeep+comanche+taillights&_osacat=0&_sop=16

  5. I haven't seen another MJ in quite some time.
  6. as you're finalizing your plans, just keep in mind that the debris in the bed will collect inside any giant holes in the liner, retain moisture, and eventually rot the bed or the bar. I've seen it many times before. heck, I own a factory bar where the bottom 4 inches of the drivers side foot completely rotted away before I rescued it.
  7. maybe an old Go Rhino bar? it doesn't matter much. it's not going to save you in a roll over so you can probably just make a template off the bottom of the pads and fab that out of some 3/16 steel. or even just punch holes through and use grade 8 bolts and thick fender washers. to install it you're going to need to sacrifice the integrity of the bed liner. be prepared for that. crap and water will try to collect at the base of the bar and start to rot it.
  8. that's an aftermarket bar so I'm not sure the factory plates will work at all.
  9. we all know he'd remind me politely that I should have cleaned that up years ago .
  10. got to drive home in proper limp mode today. according to the almighty internet, it appears one of the grounds in the engine bay is toast. all the things that went wrong ground to that spot. I'll look into it this weekend.
  11. good looking cars for sure I love wagons!
  12. excellent find! I'll merge it with the main video thread
  13. looks like you having fun though
  14. apparently forgot to add this image to this thread when it happened. these are the first wobbly steps of a new fawn in the backyard. probably just a few minutes old. still flea and tick free! just happened to be staring out the window at the time. welcome to the world little one! they still frequent the yard most days and the fawn is rather large compared to day one.
  15. I would swap the whole axle. it just needs perches burned on in the right spot. (don't forget that XJ and MJ perches are different widths apart )
  16. that is a mess of a belt. you should probably share a pic of the car
  17. ok, so the thunk is still present, but only happens once in a while and only at start/stop but could be forwards or reverse. this is annoying. I heard a problem, found a legit problem that could cause that exact noise, fixed said problem, but the noise persists.
  18. chart says 59.75 is for a longbed/4.0/stick/2wd/dana35
  19. if there are rivets to remove, you can rivet it back in place
  20. I'd drive it
  21. I rock a 1992 Jeep radio (bluetooth added) in my 06 Liberty. is that "updated"?
  22. I hesitate using the word "updated" when swapping in 25+ year old parts. they are all old now. very, very old.
  23. did a proper test drive today. repairs seems to be good.
