  1. and always inspect your equipment on a regular basis. I know it was a big hassle, but I feel you still got lucky. if it was already cracking, it could have given way at faster speeds someday.
  2. worth it
  3. yeah, the knockoffs are a hit/miss thing. I tried them before hitting the junkyard and only 4 worked properly.
  4. I got 6 from 3 different Expeditions at the junkyard. early 2000s I think? (the front 2 are super easy to pull, but you can get 6 from one if that's all they have). the injectors you want will have the same shape as your original. if they are a different shape, that's the wrong year.
  5. moved to the pub so more eyes will see it
  6. bedliner I think?
  7. perfection
  8. do pay attention to your radar as you go. we're getting some intense storms here and there.
  9. tis a fine specimen
  10. or maybe someone wanted to swap in a different column and pulled one from a wrecked Jeep only to find it didn't fit so they just rigged it?
  11. sounds cool enough, but I'll believe it when I see it
  12. ouch. they are asking quite a pretty penny for that base model with the upsidedown grille.

  14. that looks awesome! what's the plan for a plate? bracket inserted into the hitch?
  15. Commando. one of the funniest movies ever made. no, it's not a comedy, it was a super-serious action film. that's what makes it so funny. once you've seen the popular 80s action movies, then watch "The last action hero" and "The expendables" which poke fun/pay tribute to the 80s action genre. you kinda need to have the background experience of the old flicks first. Schwarzenegger is in Last Action and look up the main cast of the expendables and then be sure to watch at least one of their best flicks so you'll understand why they're there.

that was years ago. I just don't remember the specifics anymore
  17. bulbs should not burn out simply by existing. for any light that isn't the headlights, I go with LEDs (I'm still a firm believer in not blinding my fellow drivers). all my fog/turns/driving/brake lights have been converted in my Libby and PT. I use the fogs as my daytime driving lights in both.
  18. do you have a power button on the dash?
  19. it's pretty easy to unbolt the back. I'd install it and see if I like it first.
  20. enjoy all the interior space! (compared to the MJs)
  21. ultimately the threads and the spout are replaceable.
  22. personally, I'd rather track down clean doors than try to repair the inside of a seam. our trucks rot from the inside-out. solid doors are still out there.
