none that I'm aware of for the tank itself (carbed engines didn't have an electric fuel pump) BUT the only MJ that got a carbed engine was the 86 which came in longbed version only. you'll need a shortbed tank.

wow. at that point I'd be inclined to hunt down a whole new axle, but I'm not sure how available they are anymore. I'd wager that some company makes aftermarket ones.

is there a part number distinguishing the 2 styles?

no way to know if our sample size is at all representative.

so far we've found nothing to help with breakdowns of MJs (how many 88 Eliminators, how many Hunter Greens, etc) but what about newer Jeeps? specifically, how can I find out how many Deep Beryl Green KJs were made? I've seen hundreds of KJs in junkyards but have only seen 4 of my Jeep's color. is it rare? or just my bad luck? my google skills are so far letting me down.

I wonder if pulling the grille would help at all?

2 down. although my excitement is tempered by the realization that I stole the rear speaker outputs from the radio for the subwoofer amp inputs.

one down. (except for the chrome trim which is going to be painted) the old doors have... issues...
