  1. I think we have the random number thing, it's just not the best in the business. I can only imagine how many fake users I'd have to delete if they all got through. I don't know if our forum software supports the email kind. :dunno:
  2. Sorta, but not in any practical sense. I can get IP addresses. But this forum software only lets me see the IP after they post, not when the just sign up, so it's a catch 22. To keep the site clean I have to keep them from posting, but if I keep them from posting, I can't see their IP. But even if I could ban all of them, new spammers are popping up all the time or using slave computers to do their dirty work so it becomes a never ending ask and almost not worth it (except to make me feel better :D ).
  3. Yup. Nothing improves fuel mileage quite like replacing old parts. :D
  4. Go to a free photo hosting site like photobucket.com or picturetrail.com and follow their instructions for uploading your stuff. Then get the addresses of your photos and paste them here. Then highlight the addresses one at a time and click on the IMG tag above the typing box. It may take a couple tries, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. :D
  5. I bet it was a rolling billboard rather than an actual racer. Maybe he intends to restore it?
  6. It was my fault they got through. I was playing around with some forum settings and one of them had the opposite effect I thought it would. Oh well, live and learn. I am surprised that only a couple posts happened though. We had about 8 spam bots sign up in the same period of time. :hmm:
  7. Dang it. What'd I miss? What was the user name?
  8. The guy at the sticker shop (the only one in this chain o' fools I actually get to speak too) is a cop, so I think I'll pass on that. :D He knows what I'm going through, so I have a bit of faith that he's trying on his end. But if you want to swing by and give him an earful, be my guest. :D
  9. We're waiting on a phone call from the sticker shop that the sample hat is in.
  10. Be very very careful about rust. My 86 was rust-free when I first bought it. Only took a couple salty Michigan winters to start the red cancer and now it's pretty bad in places. Wash it religiously!
  11. The one standing behind the camera.
  12. Nope, too much hassle. Have no interest in acquiring the means to properly filter it and I live in Michigan and bio doesn't like the cold one bit. :( Oh, and if you asked my dad, he might mention that it's his Libby. Just ignore him. :D
  13. Nope. Didn't even take it out of fulltime. :brows:
  14. The one cop said he didn't think the little Libby could ever get the MJ truck out. :D We showed him. Long live the CRD!
  15. And we only have so much bandwidth to use...
  16. Yeah, that's right. The other way. There's a guy at JF with an 88 MJ that at some point in time got an 86 2.5L transplant and he's trying to get it running. The engine harness seems to be in place but no one swapped over anything in the dash. Wiring ain't my strong suit. Assuming the wiring that has so far been done was somehow done right, can the 2.5L computer just be thrown in and then it'll (magically) fire up? I am not familiar with how much of the dash harness is different between the 2 engines.

    JK Dana 44???

The JK axles are 5-on-5", not 5-on-5.5". You'll want to find a matching JK axle to go with it and also some JK rims too.
  18. I think those are aftermarket rims. The backspacing looks like it's less than stock. But it's close enough to get an idea of what it'll look like. :D Thats just mean ;) Sorry, couldn't resist. :brows:
  19. These are blingy, http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8323 the gamblers will look just fine. :D
  20. My dak R/T with the 360 gives me 11mpg avg. :D The most I can ever hope to attain is 17 highway and that's on a perfectly flat road at 60mph with a tailwind. Displacement is fun and all, but the turbo Cruiser my family used to have kicked some major butt and still gave us great mileage. :D
  21. Or maybe even custom rolled.
  22. I've got a few more at: and more on my external harddrive somewhere.
  23. I'll soon be running 3" lift MX-6s. But then that dang Ford axle requires a shock 2" shorter than my lift. :D Yeah I know, not a lot of help for you...
  24. Do NOT use any tar on your truck. Trust me, I went though that horror. :( It just never dries and remains a sticky mess. :( I would recommend Hurculiner instead.

    Mike HUckabee

Uh, you know there is a reason I don't like to see politics or religion here...
