Anyone know where that pic was that showed the locations? I found the image that highlights 4 of the bolts, but not the one that had all 8. :(

I read somewhere that one of the other manufacturers' parts fit. I wanna say S-10, but hopefully someone will be more certain of it than me.

There's a chance this one might stay reasonably stock. But then again I do have those bucket seats sitting in the garage down there. And the empty MJ shell doesn't exactly need that 99 front clip at the moment... :brows:

Yes, every so often we take orders for t-shirts and hoodies (nothing is carried "in stock"). In fact, I'd like to do another one pretty soon since after seeing mine my father and sis would like hoodies. :thumbsup: Keep an eye out for a new post if we do.

If it interfered with the hood, I'd dump it in a heartbeat. I can't see the rubber intake tube lasting long rubbing against the hood.

OP says he has a 2.5 so, in theory, most of his truck's wiring "should" be the same as in 87. Can't say for absolute sure though. He'll still have to deal with the 86 front clip.

I'm about to buy my first totally sight unseen MJ. :ack: That's how bad the sickness has gotten. I'm 750 miles away and so I won't even be there as the money is transferred (jb's doesn't count since I was there for the delivery). Price was right, condition was right, location was right, timing was right. It'll be my first 2.5L and it's a 2wd 5spd with 150k miles. It's rust and accident free and I'm acquiring it from the original owner. I'm so geeked it's not even funny. :banana:

Are you asking about replacing just the axle shaft or the entire axle? Any year Cherokee or Wrangler can donate it's entire rear axle. You'll just need to remove the bracketry and weld on the MJ stuff. For the axle shaft itself, I think any Dana 35 from any Jeep post 91 can be a donor. Here is the shifter setup procedure for the t-case if it helps:

As long as your life doesn't depend on the part you make, the harbor freight stuff could work fine. Just be aware that it isn't the greatest tool in the world and it'll likely come with limitations on what you can accomplish with it (maximum bend without kinking, etc). But it'll be fun either way so slip on those safety glasses and go at it. :thumbsup:
