The loops look solid, but I hope those bolts are bigger than they look in the photos. I'd probably drill them out for some bigger sized grade 8s. (and reinforce the crap outta the frame of course :D )

You don't need to voice that much anger over a simple disagreement. also, that's what PMs are for. :cheers: for what it's worth, it's not difficult to wire the fan (through a relay) to a keyed hot source. Then the fan is simply on with the truck. :yes: My 88's is through a toggle, but I run it all the time with no ill effects. I went with a toggle so i could run the fan independent of the ignition.

and the prop valve rod is pointing the wrong way.

We're always interested in hobby photos. Doesn't matter much what about. :D I used to have decent setup in the basement. no photos though. :( It was quite a while ago.

coils are only the beginning. coils shocks trackbar lower control arms longer brake lines lifting the rear (AAL or new leafs)

that reminds me, if at all possible get yourself one with the headrests. Early years (86/87?) didn't have them and we've had more than one member break the back glass with his head during a minor fender bender. :eek:

The MJ AMC 20 is a good strong axle. should have 4.10 gears in it too.

I'll try to get some numbers off my 86 (4x4/2.8/stick/AMC 20) tomorrow.

eh, i picked up my 31" MTRs used for $50, my boggers for 50 each, and my set of 5 trXus (with rims) for $350. I don't buy new tires anymore. way too overpriced. But back to the MTRs as a tire choice, they should work just fine for trails. :thumbsup:

It's all about "spring rate". If the lift coils were exactly like MJ coils, then logic would dictate that they would look longer than stock MJ coils when unsprung. But if the spring rate is higher (stiffer) then they don't have to necessarily be longer when laying there on the floor. :thumbsup: Lift coils are typically stiffer than stock coils.

hard to say with the front end. Have you tried wiggling the front driveshaft around to check for bad U-joints?

All AX-15s are 23 spline output. All Peugeots are 21. I believe AW-4s changed from 21 to 23 in 91 all transmissions behind 2.5Ls are 21 spline close :D

might want to start looking into the AX-15 swap. :thumbsup:

CJ is 5 on 5.5" SJ is 6 on 5.5" MJ is 5 on 4.5" They share differential guts, but not really anything else. Sorta like what Ford does with the 8.8.

Which parts are you looking for specifically? Grand Cherokee items are generally very different and will need custom work to make them fit. P.S. Punctuation marks are totally free. :thumbsup:
