  1. someone buy me that door!
  2. I'd pull everything out, both to dry it and to gain better access. Just start undoing the phillips screws until there's none left. :D oh, and the seats take a 13 mm socket.
  3. 8 or 9 inches
  4. do your turn signals work?
  5. last time I had a belt jump ship it was due to bad bearings in the water pump. :(
  6. Doesn't sound very "jeep" to me. I thought it was required that we throw tools and parts at it 'til it becomes a lawn ornament. :dunno:
  7. it's an art more than a science and can be a difficult skill to master. :( But at least the search database is complete now. lord knows that it was a real pain until I learned out how to re-index the database. I searched for "trailer" and "bed", displayed as topics, and searched in the Tech forum. found this in the first page of returns: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17732
  8. you and me both. :D I found out about them the same way I find other MJ stuff. Lots and lots of searches for "comache".
  9. MT trucks tended to come with the same gearing as the truck would have otherwise.
  10. I've seen a photo of an MJ like that, so at least one person has done it. Those are the pressure-equalizing ports so I'm not sure if it's all that wise of an idea to seal them. on the other had, my trucks all leak like sieves so they may not be that necessary. :dunno: plus there's the almighty Thunder Chief. :D
  11. Sweet! I'm not the only MJ owner rocking the dual sunroofs. :D
  12. PM me with the details.
  13. the track bar should be replaced asap, not because of DW worries, but because if it breaks, you kinda lose your steering. and the smacking back and forth can cause extra stress on the frame which can crack at the point between the steering box and track bar.
  14. Then you've gained an inch and it'll be much closer to stock. Make sure you replace your u-joints though. they don't like drastic changes in operating angle and can cause vibrations.
  15. Bummer. Explorers won't really help with that. :( But 2wd MJs should be pretty much the same as far as the main leaf goes.
  16. which leaf? And yes, the hellcreek springs seem to be high quality stuff.
  17. Not exactly. Explorers are close. but the center pin is off, it uses different size bolts, and has a bit less arch. What are you looking to accomplish?
  18. so you own a $12k MJ? :brows:
  19. yup, that'd be the one.
  20. that part might just happen to be cut out of the "replacement" 92. :D
  21. beggars can't be choosers... :D
  22. about 50 shipped. more than I wanted to pay, but less than I was willing. :D This was the second I've ever seen on ebay, and it might even be the same one.
  23. picked up this promo hat off ebay. yes those are the seller's photos. they turned out way better than mine so I figured I'd use them to show you guys. :D it's a 7 3/8 size and doesn't fit my huge head, but I doubt I could rock the cowboy look anyways (plus I'd never forgive myself if I ever sweat in it). Here it is next to the cap I got a few years ago. I need a cabinet or something. A mini-museum of sorts. :D
  24. and remind him just how easy it is to swap dashes...
