  1. Best thing to do in this case is go to your local parts store, and pick up a threaded "bushing" to adapt from the housing to a one wire renix sensor. I believe that the t-stat housing threads are 3/8 npt and the renix sender is 1/4 npt.
  2. Since you want bigger tires and new wheels anyways, try to find a set of TJ MOAB wheels. They are 16x8 and bolt in. 265/75 will be the size you want to run, maybe 265/70 if you find a deal.
  3. DO not waste your time with Flowcooler pumps. They are problematic. Either go to your local Carquest, Napa, etc or the dealer.
  4. If you can afford it, Bilstein 7100s or Fox 2.0
  5. If their monotube SS is like what is shown on their site, I would say it will definitely be an improvement. And is has proper bushings on both sides. Hope they are not charging you for the more expensive one though.
  6. The 3/4 cluster I have in my MJ right meow is basically the same. Mine has the old logo in it. Yours may have the "low fuel" light in that spot.
  7. I think I will be using these when I do my rear disc swap. http://www.shop.blackmagicbrakes.com/Wizard-Brackets-Reverse-TJ-Style-Parking-Brake-Cables-BRAKE-WIZARD-BRACKETS.htm
  8. Get your money back, and go to your local Carquest, Napa etc and pick up a stock replacement stabilizer.
  9. I think the 4.0L pump will work, as far as I know the earlier 2.5 pump doesn't have enough output.
  10. Definitely get the fenders to match the header panel. Unfortunately, my MJ is 4 different colors currently, but if you check out my build thread there is 97-up header panel, fenders, hood and doors. The doors are not just plug n pray.
  11. It could still be a 90. I'm guessing it doesn't have a tach so 3/4 cluster?
  12. I may have an exploder 8.8 available soon. Gears are unknown as of meow.
  13. Well. For soa. You need to weld shock mounts on the axle. With the estranged plate up top. Not much you can do with that.
  14. I guess that is a cheap way to do SOA. Since, from the factory, the shocks were mounted to the u-bolt plate mounts. Are they still mounted there? Just above the axle. or did PO add shock mounts on top of the axle? pics would help.
  15. Yesterday I M+B my 265/70R17 Yoko AT-s on my JK Moab wheels. Finally got some wheel lug nuts and some red loctite. Got them installed today. Looks much better. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1inhiUrXpULoEqjdNyt4u6rsQ45_y8D8DdQ/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/11mToaqM6rc9EoKJ8z2PhLtLpHls9iUEJBQ/view?usp=sharing
  16. Got my wheel adapters today. Missing a few wheel nuts, so I ordered some up on amazon. https://drive.google.com/file/d/158-L6CexSFIqRTKoOm2KJCBadQL6CvXFVA/view?usp=sharing Also, picked up a free stock skid. Everyone knows what those look like, so no photo for that.
  17. Drill them out.
  18. If you're gonna make an omelette, you gotta break some eggs.
  19. I have seen a few with SBC in the rear. Not like the one in the OP. I have seen some nice Baja bug's There is one local that has a turbo Subi motor in it. I have an old rusty pos 73 beetle that was free from my dad. Hoping to get rid of it soon.
  20. shipping a truck really isn't that much money. should be under a grand. that's a rust free truck for under 1300. This ^^ Then you can spend the left over cash you have on making it great and have it be YOURS.
  21. The closer the better if you can't mock it up and know.
  22. So, my cig. lighter adapter was not working. Decided to pull it today, since I was removing items from my my parts XJ I had pulled the one from there. First thing I checked was the fuse, and it was intact. So not just some faulty circuit. Then I got out my DVOM and tested the KOEO voltage at the wires for the adapter. I was getting a solid 12V. Plugged my original one back in and tested the circuit again, was only receiving 2V!! It is supper corroded inside. Swapped in the donor piece and and, Voila! 12V. I think I want to wire the CLA to battery power and possibly a switch. People can say what they wan't, but having lots of spare jeep parts isn't a bad thing.
  23. I believe that there is a thread with all model year specs. But, I want to say 3.73's is what that would have. And, for 100$, you could turn profit on it easy if you don't want to keep it.
  24. The only way to confirm that the case will work is make sure spline count is the same, and bolt the case to the trans and make sure it fits/turns smoothly. Otherwise, either a 2nd gear switch, and manually shifting your heep with the auto. Or Install an RADesigns rail shifter setup.
