  1. Not that I've been able to find.
  2. Those rear sway bars only work on SWB MJs because of the different location of the shock mounts in the SWB vs. the LWB.
  3. While I have no experience with a cab-over camper I do carry a heavy shell on my longbed. Even with that I experienced increased body roll. I think as a minimum you should install a fresh set of Metric Ton springs for the extra weight and a beefier anti-sway bar up front, like from a ZJ V8 model. Maybe some heavy duty shocks all around too especially if you still have the originals. I don't think bags will be necessary if you do these things.

    Got another one

The 5-cylinder Mercedes diesels I've seen more than any other vehicle besides certain commercial trucks or vans. I think every country in the world uses them as taxis since they run forever.
  5. I remember the thread; the part about painting the truck green with a rattle can I think (or a broom? :hmm: ). He (Motion) must have deleted it it himself because I can't find it in the mod delete list.
  6. Make sure the axle vent tube is clear. I recently had my rear D44 regeared and the axle seals would leak on a long interstate run due to increased pressure. Replaced the vent hose, cleaned out the hose end adapters, and no more leaks.
  7. HERE (Extreamly well built)
  8. Don't know if this has been posted before........ Comes in many models. http://en.trecol.ru/pokupatelyu/modelnij_ryad/9#center
  9. Nice score! Best canoe ever made in my book. I had a 17' square-ender Grumman for over fifteen years, an old 1955 model, and it was built like a tank. I don't think there was a body of water in Virginia it didn't see while I lived up there. Could carry a huge load, very stable, and the square end was great for a small outboard or trolling motor. Used to jack deer, ducks, all kinds of stuff in the Dismal Swamp in eastern VA. Did a lot of fishing from it too. A freak wind storm came through one summer and knocked a tree on it and folded it up. Been looking for another good one ever since. Oh yeah, they were also used in the movie Deliverance as Remi was referring to.
  10. I have a couple but both are missing the center JeeP logo sticker. You can have them if you want for postage.
  11. Grease cap solution for the 2WD: Replace the stock caps with Mr. Gasket chrome caps, about $3/ea.
  12. Left and right exterior handles are not interchangeable due to the internal bellcrank underneath the push button. It would be upside down on the wrong side and wouldn't operate the push button assembly. Plus the actuator rod wouldn't line up. Easy to see laying a left and right handle side-by-side but hard to explain.
  13. No idea. Those lights would look good on his truck though.

  15. Well crap. That's why everything I saw agreed with my 91 AW4 wiring even though the doc was labeled as an 88 XJ AW4. Well, that's good to know and I hope the mistakenly titled doc I sent didn't hold you up too much. I had no idea. For sure the solenoids are all fine as they are all working with your manual shifter. Sure would like to know the cause of your low TPS input voltage though. As I'm sure you do too. :dunno:
  16. Yes, no problems.
  17. Now now, no bad-mouthing the best looking wheels AMC/Jeep ever came out with. I LOVE these wheels. They even look better than the Ravines. :D The last year you could get them was 1991.
  18. Here you go:
  19. Wishing doesn't get it done. Calling people stupid for someone overpaying for an item in your opinion for something they want is also stupid. Describing a buyer's purchase price as ridiculous for very rare NOS parts is also ridiculous. Some people want NOS parts because they really are NEW OLD STOCK and might never be available again. Plus they can afford it. If you can't, no need for negative comments.
  20. Remember this post Jim? http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=21043&p=216280&hilit=asd+relay#p216280 Might be a sticking ASD relay, or it's not getting it's latch signal from the distributor and preventing starting when cold.
  21. Sadly that doesn't work with the big ugly Bubbas that tend the check out points down here. :(
  22. Maybe you should change the title of this thread to: Jeep Decal Graphics - Custom Made Si? Keep up the good work.
  23. That'll make it rumble like a Mustang. A six cylinder Mustang.

    Bolt size?

Yes, weird. There seems to be more SAE hardware on the newer XJs than the older XJ/MJ models.
  25. I've screwed around with my exhaust system many times and it took awhile to get it right. The stroker has a Mike Leach header and I tried both the "quiet" Flowmaster (series 44) and a Dynomax. While the Dynomax was marginally better than the Flowmaster, both had unbearable resonance and droning @ 2000 RPM or so that drove me crazy. My friend runs a muffler shop here in town and he thought the droning was mostly caused by the header output being strangled by the single 2-1/4" exhaust pipe. We ended up installing a Walker SoundFX muffler with a single 2.5" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets and running separate 2.5" exhaust pipes out the back. We also replaced the HI-FLO cat with a stainless Cherry Bomb. This did the trick; absolutely no droning and just a slight notch above stock in sound level for normal driving. However, when you get on it at WOT, it barks pretty good, but not obnoxiously loud. The system also made decent gains on the dyno across the entire RPM range.
