  1. Okay - got it.
  2. Recentered? :hmm:
  3. Florida did this and it ended up with the state losing around $150,000 with less than a 3% failure rate. Not all poor people are deadbeat drug addicts who chose this path. Source: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/18/us/no-savings-found-in-florida-welfare-drug-tests.html?_r=0 Florida was the wrong state to try welfare drug testing I think. What's the median age there? Probably one of the oldest in the country because of all the retiree immigration. Most seniors on welfare don't do illegal drugs; they are more into legal prescription medications via Medicare. Welfare drug testing in some of the other states would most likely yield entirely different results.
  4. Okay man, spray PB anywhere / everywhere you want to.
  5. Have to agree with that. But if you like them, it's all good.
  6. BEN!! That's not like you.
  7. Yeah, I have the big fat OME shocks on the back, and they are real close to the seam but clear okay. Guess that POS Monroe w. overload spring is even wider. Can you use an adjustable wrench and carefully bend the seam slightly to clear?
  8. I think most everyone knows (or should know) that PB Blaster and similar solvents are designed for breaking down iron oxide (rust) on corroded ferrous metallics and should never be used on electrical connections of any kind. Also dielectric grease is an non-conductive insulator, designed to prevent moisture entry to electrical connections. If used on a copper metal-to-metal electrical bond it increases resistance. Dielectric grease is used is to coat rubber gaskets and boots to prevent water entry to the electrical connection.
  9. So his daughter didn't like it, si?
  10. I also have both EURO side markers and city lights installed, both paralleled off the front marker lights. Both incandescent, so it doesn't affect the circuit backfeed. http://comancheclub.com/topic/7189-euro-side-repeater-lights/?hl=euro+side http://comancheclub.com/topic/16853-mj-city-lights/?hl=city
  11. Will do later on today and post up. EDIT @ 1300: Incandescents placed in marker sockets. The marker lights now do flash w/o the running lights on, but they flash in-sync with the turn signals, not alternating.
  12. This? I believe they enacted a law back in the late 80's. Something about limiting multiple cut-and-paste ad nauseam quotes on a public forum. I can not recall the actual limit, but the consequences were immediate seizure and confiscation of both registered and unregistered firearms from the accused.
  13. Didn't know you painted your rig Johnny.
  14. Does the marker flash when your running lights are not on? No. The running lights have to be on for the marker lights to flash alternately with the turn signals. You got me curious so I just went and checked. .
  15. I have LEDs for both the markers and turn signals. Of course, you have to observe LED polarity for both for them to work because it's a simple LED lamp w/o a zener or bridge circuit to negate polarity. When when applying a left turn signal, the left marker extinguishes, the left LED turn signal flashes, goes off; and the alternating marker/turn signal flashing continues until the left turn signal is removed. Sam-o for the right side. HOWEVER, I have a 91, so the alternating flashing function is factory wired in. I ASSume this mod mimics the factory wiring, but will have to verify with my FSM.

  17. LED lights will work fine with this application as long as you observe correct polarity when installing the LEDs. If installed incorrectly, the LEDs simply do not energize; rotate them 180* and they all work fine.
  18. For a labor intensive products to replace like a flexplate, no way would I mess around with aftermarket junk to save a few $$. You can pickup new Mopar units on Ebay from various Jeep dealerships for less than $70 shipped. It's just not worth it to me.
  19. Try the "Flash-to-Pass" feature by pulling the multifunction switch stalk toward you. High beams? If not, check for a blown FL/PASS fuse in the cabin fuse block. Should be 15-20A.
  20. That's what she suggested after watching some stupid TV ad. Ain't gonna happen Pete. A deck is for sitting out in the sun, swilling beer, and workin' the barby. If it's raining, no barby, and I swill beer inside and wait for the rain to end. No problem.
  21. Welcome. Link: http://comancheclub.com/topic/40531-rewiring-your-marker-lights-as-turn-signals/
  22. Got that right. I spend half my awake hours doing honey-dos. Over the summer I finished a huge deck out back overlooking the lake. Now she's asking if it can be roofed over. No way!
  23. Here's a nice mod for the Renix MJs, and a good safety feature too. The 91-92 MJs already have this factory installed. The link for the below is here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxsPQiWMYfNmMk11b0djV3E1eHc/edit?pli=1 And here is the original link (much better resolution): http://www.icebear.no/jeep/Turn%20Signal%20Rewiring.htm Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found
  24. In that case, if Mama's happy, everybody's happy. Seriously Ben - good job.
  25. :agree: Meh... something tells me it'll be left along just as it is. Not because it wouldn't look good, but more so figuring a laziness factor.
