Soooooo, you brought a rock home? Rock garden?
  2. Stock OEM MJ Laredo bucket seats with stock non-rocking bases. Top of the head rest to the ceiling: 12" Front of the seat bottom to the ceiling: 32"
  3. :hmm: Turned to crap overnight?
  4. Looks great Pete, but can't see all of it. Can you get a shot of the entire bedside on the wall?
  5. Cruiser can explain that for you.
  6. Top of the head rest to the ceiling? Front of the seat bottom to the ceiling?
  7. The 2.5 starter mounts differently than the 4.0.
  8. Beefier but too slow. "The best" depends what you use your rig for.
  9. I think the steering ratio on those is even slower than the stock MJ/XJ box's 14:1, but I'm not positive. You would have to bench test it by counting the output shaft revolutions when turning from stop-to-stop.

Brilliant! My treated wood post has gotten a bit shaky over the years and needs to be replaced. Neat way to pull the concrete footing and reuse the hole.
  11. To simplify, if all you did was replace the transmission, you need to use the same flywheel and CPS you had in it originally. If you are replacing the flywheel and/or the CPS, you need to replace them with the same part(s) as the originals, be it Renix or HO.
  12. That's a gross understatement. How's the Wildernest look?
  13. Lots of white! I used to go out to the missile range quite regularly to work on their missile telemetering equipment. It's a weird place when you're used to lots of trees and grass. Are the oryx still running around out there? Seemed like they were everywhere.
  14. ^^ This. Like so: EDIT: Just checked - the p/n's look correct on the Ebay lamps - so they were originally the chrome/silver lights. The seller probably touched up the silver because it was worn. Personally, as Adam said, I'd keep looking for a better deal.
  15. Those have been painted then clear-coated by someone, most likely the seller. This is what decent used factory lamps should look like:
  16. It's just listing all the different MJ models and equipment for the year all weigh between 5001#-6000# GVW for the VIN 4th character.
  17. It is. :rotfl2:

  19. That VIN decoder has gone south for some reason. This one from France works pretty well: http://www.uscars.biz/uscars.wordpress/jeep/vin-jeep/ Try it and see if it's close.
  20. Most of it Fred.
  21. I love the bumper. Are you going to use that too for the bench?
