  2. try to find a YJ slip yoke as they are a little longer and could help keep it from slipping out.
  3. all/everything an engine needs is clean oil. additives are just a way to make money, some manufactures will void the warranty if additives are found in a bad engine.
  4. oops fixed it. yes they are
  5. got my new 33x12.50R15 TSL's mounted up. now i just gotta get the used set of 305/70r17 BFG A/T's i got for free mounted for DD duty. also got the pass side spring pocket fixed.... it rusted out and collapsed upward about 2".

  15. I think Plato would have been a Jeeper....lol I needed to grease the rear DS on the TJ as the centering ball was starting to squeak. Here's the fitting.... The problem was the needle attachment i had wasn't workin. So i made a bic needle attachment.....lol worked like a champ and didn't cost a thing...hehe
  16. i have this wire wire feed welder. i would have got a buzz box but don't have 220v in the garage at my rental house. personally i thought stick was easier to weld with than the flux core wire.
  17. i'll trade ya..lol i hate the cold and wind here! i don't mind snow but it never snows enuf here to have any fun..
  18. duallies spread the weight of the truck out and reduce the contact pressure...good for sand bad for mud and rocks.
  19. I love my BFG A/T's i have a set of 33's on my TJ for DD and just got a FREE set of 315/70r17 with about 6-7/32 left that I'm puttin on the MJ after new years run. i have a set of 33" wally world MT el cheapos and they are are ok for dry cond but suck in heavy mud. they look great and aren't too loud but wear quickly as most soft compound tires do. these are on the MJ now as DD i also have a set of 34/17 LTB's that i love except i want a little bigger foot print and am going with a set of 33" TSL's that measure out to the same height as the 34" LTB's. they are bias ply so they don't balance or wear very well on the street as CW stated but they are super strong (4ply sidewalls!!) I'm not a fight foot wheeler and the swamper's help me go places that others who are locked f/r go with little wheel spin. i don't personally like Goodyear tires, however from what I've heard the MT/R fairs about as well as the BFG A/T in mud but do get on rocks. the one thing i will say if you don't rotate them often they cup out like crazy and will fide worse than a swamper.
  20. naw most of us came from TN...lol :P KY is a beautiful state but i would go back to TN anytime just because thats where i born and it pretty down there too.
