  1. Simply put... Awsome!!! I love the ones that have the add ons that the factory should have put on them anyways. Did I mention, Awesome.
  2. So basically all I have to do is get a radiator (that you put the coolant directly into) and swap them out. That's it? Thanks
  3. I just considered it an upgrade because it was newer. All I was thinking of doing was replacing the old cooling system with a newer one. One that you actually put coolant in the radiator with out the pressurised bottle. Yes I know they operate at the same pressure.
  4. Most of my questions are pretty simple stuff, but like I said before I'm not a mechanic nor do I claim to be one, however I do enjoy upgrading my own stuff (89 MJ) with the help of the comanche club of course :clapping: . So my question is: 1. What all is involved in switching cooling systems to where I don't have the old pressurized system? 2. How do I do it? 3. Is it a difficult swap? 4. How much does it cost? Thanks all help is greatly appreciated.
  5. I have an 89 Mj 4x4 auto. with the column shift. I did not like the idiot lights and wanted a tach, so I performed the swap to the gauge cluste with the needles and a tach. Switched the sendin units out so the needles will work. Now on to the problem: My tachometer does not work at all. What is the problem? What can I do to fix it? Is there something I'm missing? The only thing that I see that plugs in are the 2 units that snaps in the back and the speedo cable. Any Help and Advice is Very Appreciated.
  6. Nice Comanche. Its hard to believe the size difference between an MJ and the F250.
  7. You can't beat it when you find a 92 or an eliminator, but to find them both in one truck. WOW!!!

  13. I have an 89 MJ that is a 4x4 and automatic on the column. Did the gauge upgrade to the one with the needles and changed sending units. All is fine with the exception of the tach does not work. I cleaned the connectors and still nothing. The tach previously worked (seen it 1st hand). What could be the problem and how could I fix it. As always any and all advice is appreciated, Thanks
  14. Speedometer cable was extremely worn so replaced it and it works. hit a dead end road on tach. Any help is always appreciated.
  15. Okay, here's the story. I got an 89 Mj automatic, column shift,4x4. It had the idiot lights. Like everyone else I wanted the needles and tach. Did the switch (Got and installed all sending units). The gas gauge, battery gauge, oil gauge, and temp gauge work. The speedometer worked for a while then stopped. The tach does not work. What could the problem be? *Speedometer is connected.* What is a solution? Any and all help is appreciated.
