  10. Well, I'm in search for another comanche. My wife was taking my daughter to pre-school the other morning and got rearended by a box truck. (Will post pics later and the both of them are o.k.) It basically crushed the bed up to the cab and warped the cab and frame. I'm looking for a comanche with preferbly the following: 4.0 6-cycl, 4x4, and auto. trans. Haven't heard back from the insurance yet, but price range is probally gonaa be between $2,000 and $3,000. Thanks in advance.

  14. I have the turd Dana 35 in my 89 MJ. I hear about all the problems with them,so I figuredI use mine until it went out then replace it with something better. Mind you I don't do any heavy offroading as its my DD and Iwant something that can function when/ if I really need it. My questions are: 1) Dana 44 or Chrysler 8.25? 2) which is the easiest swap? 3)What if any fabrication is needed? As I have said many of times; I not a mechanic nor do I claim to be one, but I love these Jeeps and learn the stuff as I go. Thanks guys. As always; any and all advice or critism is appreciated.
  15. Here's the run down: I have an 89 MJ 4x4 auto. base model. It had the idiot lights and like eveyone else I wanted a tach and gauges. So I did the swap got the sending units for the temp. and other. Speedo works, but tach doesn't. It work for 1-2 miles then stopped. I have unplugged replugged and cleaned. What could the problem beand can it be fixed?
  16. I have had problems with my tach and speedo cable since doing the switch to the full cluster. Is it possiable to just switch over to the electrical and what all is involved? Any advice is appreciated.
