  1. The ranger had it coming. Ditch the a/c, now you can make onboard air.
  2. Anyone interested in a meet and greet? Where is a location that will work? Lets shoot for July fifth.
  3. I talked to him about it too.
  4. What you don't want LeadnotFallow in there? :dunno: I think that it is a great idea. I will nominate Darren to be the NorthWest Chaplin. If there is anyway that I can help let me know.
  5. exactly!!! Any guess on who the supplier is?
  6. As much as I dislike motion offroad I have been considering buying their mj cage, does anyone have pics of it installed, or have any comments to make on how functional it is?

    Vote for Brenda.

So it looks like Brenda has this thing in the books. She said that for winning you guys get a free photo shoot together from that photographer. I was really hoping that you will share those pictures with all of us  I suggest something like this
  9. I talked to a girl at a bar last night, needless to say, I went home alone

    Gas prices

I oayed 2.45, I did see it for 2.23 at a station a few miles away.
  11. I am working out a couple issues right now, I am trying to figure out how I want to build my crossmsmber. I think that I need to move my radius arms in more, I will take some pics tomorrow. I just ordered my frame side and axle side mounts for the trackbar from ballistic fabrication. I have been going pretty slow lately, my subi has been costing me a lot of money lately, I just had to put a new windshield in.
  12. From my own experience with using the northwest forum on NAXJA. Meet and greets are kinda ghey, but people go to them and you here cool stories. it is also a great tool to use when trying to get people together to go wheeling. From what I have seen it has been very successful.
  13. When you coming??? http://www.miobi.org/main.htm or http://www.jocci.com/  I didn't know they even had internet in Iowa, I thought that thread was a joke  I still have to get my jeep done before I can even wheel here in the NW

    new tow rig

looks like you got a big deal
  15. Ballistic is doing this on a bunch of things to lower prices for people that can weld, it saves $25 on all of their diff covers. Many trusses and builder parts come semi assembled to ease instalation and lower shipping costs.
  16. I think that there should be regional forums. I think that this would make meet and greets and wheeling trips much easier to plan.
  17. Here is a great write up, took me about an hour searching naxja to find this, found a 5 year old thread when I had the problem. http://jeepxj.com/JeepXJ/oil%20blowby%20fix.htm
  18. I am talking to eric about my comanche right now while watching Borat.

    harbor freight?

Thanks, I will use that for sure!!! I will have to run across the bridge so that I can save another 8% of tax!!!
  20. Everything has been in fun. Didn't mean to step on a nerve. BTW I don't have a problem with Iowa, I like Iowa, I would even travel there if theree were something interesting to do there
  21. I have ran a HELP grommet with an APC breather filter there, plug the airbox and my problem was solved, also saves your air filter
  22. How long and how many miles have you run it? On a daily driver, the get noisy as the plastic/poly/nylon covering deteriorates on the ball. Making them VERY ANNOYING as they rattle, click and clunk to every movement of the suspension. Then you have the old single shear, safety argument. Its one thing to loose the connection with your left front wheel crawling over a rock at 2MPH. Try that at 60+MPH on the expressway when you hit a bump or debris. CW Sounds like you skimped on heims  Go for the teflon lined ones or go home, also keep up on maintenance. I am not familiar with that kit, if you have 3/4" heims or bigger then you are fine strength wise, run saftey washers, run grade 12 hardware.
  23. This looks like a great deal. It also looks really cool. http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/Rea ... _1487.html
  24. Appears to be well done, the grafting is very clean.
