Darren I wanted to let you know how great it is to post on comanche club..... jk hahaha. I hope you learn the valuable lesson that I learned from my two week ban. That is that Comanche Club is very important to us. And that we need to be nicer to people. Don't cut your floor! If you need to do some clearancing use a bfh. Show some pics of your clearance issues, I believe that the rear driveline length is the same between the ax15 and ba10 because I don't think that darren had to change after his transmission swap

Why thank you Darren I have been back since friday. I am turning over a new leaf. The second week with no cc was really hard on me because I sprained my mcl and was off work all week. However, I survived lol.

I would head down to a junk yard and grab a new harness for the portion on the front clip ie blinkers headlights ect. Just get one off a similar year xj or mj, and if you can find an mj I would do the same with the rear tail light harness.

Spray some pb blaster on the bolts every evening for a week and you may have some luckgetting the nuts off, otherwise you will just have to pound them out like everyone else has said.

For a clasic truck I think its way cool. Not a very good egress angle though!

So I wound up going to a couple u pull its with a buddy looking for 97+ front clip parts. I was looking inside of an xj and decided that I wanted the wood grain trim on my door panel. So I grabbed them I didn't want the all pleather door panels so I cut my panells off with a razor blade and then popped on the woodgrain piece. now it matches my dash.

So I have my crossmember finished

I saw this on my way home from the steel yard today it is a f/s bronco with a narrowed body sitting on rockwells with coilovers. Well I got started on my crossmember today. I started by making a frame out of .120 wall 1x1 square tube The I tacked on pieces of 1/8" plate on the bottom side. I need it to be 3/4" thick on the parts where it mounts to the frame so I used 1/2" angle iron and made box's with plate. Then I welded up all the seams and ground them smooth so it will slide over the rocks better I got a start on plating the top side. it is getting pretty heavy.

I didn't get the fenders togo with the nose because I am building tube fenders.

Ok so I spent the weekend at u pull it... the clunkers are in!!!!! My mj has a new nose!!! Here is a picture of my trackbar The 3/4x4 grade 8's for the trackbar Here is my design for my crossmember. Me andDarren are building it tomorrow.

Well I finally had some time to work on the mj yesterday. I built my track bar. I'll post up a pic tomorrow. I also got a new front clip from a jeep that I am parting out.
