Comanche Bezels (2) 25$/ea

Not so rare. Decent woodgrain or silver are more uncommon. More uncommon still are those that include the filler panel that goes under the steering column. There are at least half a dozen on eBay right now $40-$60 and not one has the filler. -
That was before the time of microbrews and a steady income. When you're 18, cold and "a lot of it" was all ya needed. It was "an emergency" remember.

Does pouring a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon in the radiator count? It worked.

Had no expectations ... I was pulling your leg! I went with Direct Express Auto Transport. Plug in pick up and destination zip codes and it generates three quotes; standard, quicker, quickest which are priced accordingly. I have more time than money and so, went with standard. We'll see what pans out and I'll post it here.

Signatures in general ... Can't figure out how/where I can change the tag line at the bottom of my posts. My WK is down the road and the DD is now an '01 XJ.

I would also like the winning powerball number for tonight's drawing and a unicorn. Not your standard pink one, but a blue one. Yeah.

Resurrecting an old thread ... Anyone have good/bad experiences with auto transport companies? I'm using the following to calculate some pricing >> https://www.autotransportdirect.com/ I've used transport companies twice in the past ... once through eBay, and once through a random search. I'm trying to avoid the barrage of email and offers that requests often generate. Looking at East coast transfer from the Georgia-ish to my driveway in New Hampshire. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Don ... I ran my '90 VIN and it appears accurate.

1991 Jeep Comanche Pioneer Cab - $1,150. in IL
NHMJXJ replied to amsuco's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Total scam. I see this all the time. There's a white 2WD also appearing on several CL locations. Some internet troll harvests pictures from a real ebay/cl listing and reposts selective pics with a brief description. Take a look at that truck ... $1100? If it seems to good to be true, it's a duck. (I know, mixed metaphor, but you get it). -
About $75 with a vanity plate. I'd run an antique plate, but New Hampshire is pretty strict about their use. You can't "daily drive" ... You have to be on your way to/from a show, a parade, or out for a Sunday cruise.

So _that's_ where they all went!

My two bits ... keep it. Fix it. Enjoy it. You'll be hard pressed to find one to replace it down the road, particularly if it has sentimental value. Just remember, it's a "thing" and in the grand scheme it's not important. The best things in life are not things.

Very cool.

Low mileage 87 4x4 on eBay ... Georgia
NHMJXJ replied to NHMJXJ's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
One can ask whatever they want ... doesn't mean they'll get it. Looks like someone retracted their bid. It was up to $5700, now it's back to $4600. Of course there's some idiot bidding in $50 increments driving the price up. Could be shill too. This truck is low mileage, but the seller notes it sat in a carport for 10 years. Hardly proper storage. In some instances, lack of use is as bad as abuse. -
4x4, short box, auto, column shifter. 54K miles. Sat for years without use. Seller says the reserve is $8500 https://www.ebay.com/itm/1987-Jeep-Comanche-sport-truck/282821709867?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908131621%26meid%3Df30a8a492d8d459ca77ca8171d1f91c6%26pid%3D100678%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D282821709867&_trksid=p2481888.c100678.m3607&_trkparms=pageci%3A7b79915e-021a-11e8-9090-74dbd1806e4b%7Cparentrq%3A2f51b6b11610a8878dfeb0a0ffe2bb72%7Ciid%3A1

1988 Jeep Comanche "Laredo" 45k Miles Mint 1988 Jeep Comanche Laredo - 4x2, 45K Verified miles, purchased from original executive owner in central Georgia. Laredo trim is said to be more rare than the Eliminator and the top luxury trim for a Comanche. Many don't know they exist. Here it is in it's finest glory! Truck never traveled a northern road, salty coastal state or bad weather. As many know the major problem AMC had with paint clear coatings has been resolved on this truck. I waited in line for the best paint shop in area to professionally disassemble and match factory metallic paint better than it was new. I chose factory Jeep Liberty Renegade rims mated with new General Grabber tires that matched the factory charcoal two tone perfectly. Truck is as nice in engine bay and underneath. Factory labels and markings still intact. Factory floor mats beneath ones in photos for protection. Call me and give me your address and I'll send more photos. Price: $16,900 city: Murfreesboro State: TN Please contact Brian at: Phone: 615-394-2412

Low Miles 2001 XJ on ebay
NHMJXJ replied to sinkrun's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Anyone who pays 22K for that truck has more dollars than sense. I suppose if you have that kind of disposable income, more power to ya. I (sort of) watched the Barrett Jackson Auction for a couple hours last night while doing domestics. Dave Kindig (SP?) reviewed a custom 57 T-Bird expected to fetch 7 figures. That's crazy money unless you're from Dubai.
