  1. So, throw in a 6+ hour, round-trip commute over the Cascades (Yakima) and the deal doesn't seem so sweet…
  2. Is this a good deal and what should I be looking for when buying a used axle? :hmm: dana 44 rear end out of a commanche it is currently spring under but can be changed it has the stock 354 gears I'm asking 300obo The gears, housing, and axle shafts look good. You will need to replace the outer axle bearings, and brake pads. And its missing both brake drums. I can do $200 if you pick up... My brother can throw in some disc brake brackets for the full $250. You would still need to source some earlier model calipers and rotors.
  3. Never heard of Rust Bullet... Have any pics of the roof job?
  4. I did edit the floor boards... That Permatex rust stuff looks like a good option, but i think i'd use POR 15 with some kind of bedliner materal on top. I wonder if there is any reason why I wouldn't want to replace the carpet/mat with some kind of bed liner material. Like would I have an issue with too much heat on the tins?
  5. Not too far, just outside Belfair, Wa.
  6. Sounds like a good way to get some yard work done ;)
  7. There are several of us CC folks in the area. I'm up in the Northshore neighborhood and i know that mrsinister is out in the Gig Harbor area.
  8. Just the rear, but also cut one spring off the front coil and raised (lowered) the leaf spring mounts in the rear. :D
  9. Thanks dude, good to hear from the local CC folks.
  10. nice job
  11. I think you where the first to notice, and i very well could be the second
  12. This is the way that i like to remember it
  13. I don't get it either... :shake:
  14. Doug, I'm going to guess that you’re a preacher/pastor/reverend…
  15. Better get more Copenhagen :D
  16. I've ran the BFG AT's for most of my MJ's life and the past several years witht he MT's. The choice between these two will depend what you want out of your tire. :fool: IMHO the MT's will way out perform the AT's in the mud, but are less effective in the rain, snow, and sand.
  17. If i lived in Florida, i wouldn't worry about it, but If you lived in the rainy NW...
  18. The cowl hood is definitely the clean and easy way to go. Although this fab piece that I found on craigslist awhile ago, looks pretty cool.
  19. Just got rid of my 5.2L Dakota after 10+ years. It was an awesome rig, plenty of power; hard to compare to the MJ. Then i got this new 4.7 L.
  20. 20+ years and my MJ has proven itself to be the most reliable rig I’ve owned. Havn’t started it in over a month, but I know it’ll crank right over. :brows: Breaking even is awesome, better than most of us on this forum could do… Good luck with the Ford.
  21. Y'all have mighty big lakes there in Colorado :D
  22. 4.0 and gear it appropriately. What's up with the poll, hasn't been woring fow awhile? :dunno:
  23. $5,800 is a bit more than what i'd guess it's worth.
  24. I grew-up in Scholls, just over the hill from you.
