  1. We went to Yellowstone in the early to middle of Sept. a few years ago. It’s nice to travel when the kids are back in school. Also, it’s nice getting the non-peak season hotel rates. ...plan... you can't see it all in a few days. Limit your expectations or stay awhile. ...drive the TJ, there's always opportunities for excersions ...weekdays are always less crouded than weekends :smart:
  2. I thought it was the rear bumper that was the option...?
  3. Look at what just arrived from Port Jeff Jeep in NY. Yep, the last new OEM fuel pump! At $268.60 it wasn’t cheap, but if it lasts another 20 years, its money well spent.
  4. If it starts keep it running til ya get er home. Don't forget the cell phone to call the auto club. Good luck!
  5. Looks good  Rustoleum is a good choice for a MJ.
  6. Looks offical
  7. Wish we had full service in WA
  8. I'd probably break something on the rti ramp... That layer of mud is a good look, but what's up with that clean, lime green shock boot? :shake:
  9. :agree: Don't normally agree with freak, but have to this time.
  10. Cool stuff  Did you forgot to use the high temp black paint?
  11. Recently I’ve felt like giving up on my MJ a few times. But after owning it for 20 years and knowing all the trouble free miles it has provided me, I realized it’s now time to reinvest. Let’s face it, those Japanese make a good, reliable product and if that’s what you’re looking for, ya can’t go wrong there either!
  12. Hope she’s alright!
  13. That sux Pete. I'll remember to keep my recipes from NAPA!
  14. If he wasn't Mel Gibson, we would have never that tape. I remember having a similar conversation/rant when I was in my early 20's. Then i grew-up.
  15. I think you need a new "jeep service guy", LOL :brows: :brows: https://www.jeepoemparts.com/1990-jeep- ... parts.html CW The OEM fuel pump is now “DISCONTINUED”. Looks like all YOU have to choose from is the aftermarket pumps. I just found the LAST two (2) OEM Pumps, one in CA and the other was in NY, and yes I bought one! Thanks for all the feedback!
  16. Thanks - I definitely need new people. Glad I got you and the other CC folks. Still confused why multiple people (part stores) said there were two types of pumps used for the ’90. :huh???:
  17. What "factory part"? The service guy at the Jeep dealership said there wasn't one. I'm confused.
  18. Apparently there was two pumps that were installed in the ’90, the Bosch and Walbro. How do you know which one will fit with the other stuff prior to opening it up and looking? :dunno:
  19. You’re lucky. Years ago while driving through a small Oregon town I was pulled over and cited for “encumberment”, because my super hot GF was leaning on me while driving. He probably could have been a dic and cited you for the GF on the lap.
  20. What do you mean about "makes me a little leery". Think someone has already been in it changing up the gears or you don't think they know what their talking about? I currently have 3.73 gears and was hoping to keep that ratio...
  21. ooops, $350. Thanks Rob.
  22. What are you asking for the MJ D44?
  23. "...dana 44 rear axle out of a jeep xj. It is in good shape. It has stock internals with 3.73 gear ratio..." :dunno:
  24. ?
  25. OK, i guess these are my (O'Reilly's) choices: Ait Tech $81.99 Bosch $99.99 + $20 ship Del Fhi $101.95 Is one really any better than the others? :help:
