Thanks :cheers: It's nice to hear some positive stuff about my choice after spending a BIG chunk of money. I also like the looks of the new style. When i was building my V8 package, the 5spd wasn't an option. That was fine with me as I needed the auto anyways.

From what I hear, they’re a lot of chromolly axles out there, but the Superior Evolution Series Axles are the strongest. That’s what I used to upgrade my D30.

Went to the Dodge dealership and ordered my new DD. They said it should arrive in about 6 +/- weeks. Now i need to sell my '99 5.2L Dakota...

I pulled my stock plactic liner after nearly 20 years and there was only a few places where the paint was rubed off and had a little surface rust. Alot less mess than everybody tried to make me believe. :D

I got my alt. respooled twice (gotta stay out of the water). It’s rated at 120 amps. With two red tops, I don’t have any problems with the winch, lights…

how far did you spread the Herculiner up the fire wall? any pix?
