  1. Sometimes, you get what you pay for
  2. My MJ went 20 years with no front plate while living in OR & WA, where it is a requirement. Never did receive a ticket. Then, I simply drilled some holes and bolted it on. Looks good, right? Also, feels good to be a law-abiding citizen :brows:
  3. If you’re going to all the trouble to mount a winch, you might as well get something you can depend on. I’d suggest a 9k, no less than a 8k.
  4. After several people warned me about the Tacoma, WA - 4 Wheel Parts Store installations… I ignored them and took a chance; I should have listened and learned from other peoples mistakes… They fixed one of their mistakes, but then wouldn’t even take the time of returning my calls or emails to finish the job correctly. Sure, you might save a few bucks purchasing parts through them, if you want to support a shady operation. But if you want their “experts” to install anything on your rig, don’t say you weren’t warned! :fs2:
  5. Nice  Gotta love those SB, '90, Pioneer, 4x4's
  6. First, I suspect not many people even check this section often, as there’s not much going on here. As for me, I wouldn’t go Elb"e" without rocker guards.
  7. not for me, one old truck is enough!

  9. sorry to hear...
  10. If you genuinely enjoy teenage banter, then the NAXJA forum is defiantly for you.
  11. Actually CD's predated MJ production by about 4 years. :smart: Didn’t say my memory was good
  12. IIRC CD players weren’t even around during the MJ production years.
  13. Can't really tell. There's no photos of the bumpers on a XJ/MJ... Just because it looks good sitting on concrete doesn't mean it'll look good once all bolted up.
  14. If you want to help wildlife then just leave them alone. That includes your watering idea and suggestion of “…unless [you] get alot, then you know". If you really want to help, contact your local land trust and set aside a potion of your property or the development rights of your property, to benefit wildlife. Or you could contact your local HSUS office and get some suggestions on improving wildlife habitat. :smart:
  15. It's on my road-trip list
  16. have you seen these? http://c2cfabrication.com/store/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=7&products_id=316&osCsid=25c0mosvmfqptatmgivo2k4di1
  17. Not "portland", but not too far away... http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/pts/2299203321.html One does have a D44 with 4:10's, but they want $400
  18. …wish I had the skills :shake: had it fabricated in Lakewood, WA (strongweld.com).
  19. It’s been sitting in my garage, needing a bunch of work. :wrench: Your MJ project is looking good.
  20. I got mine from here: http://www.quadratec.com/products/55023_003_T.htm ...they say they're "No Longer Available"
  21. here is how i vented my hood :D
