Mine is looking pretty lamb with the staples holding it partially up. I like mnkyboy’s, but I wonder what it would look like if i covered the fiberboard with Line-X/Rhino Liner? :idea:

They must have big rocks on the roads of PA, because your front bumper looks hammered.

I went with the unpopular under axle truss. Had it done nearly 20 years ago. Kinda wished it was trussed above the axle for more clearance. You can see most of it in this pic:

Installation completed :D You can even see my upgraded rotors in this pix. Yes, every little bit helps! Front axle assembly is completed: new axles, TrueTrac, and trussed. It’s time to do something with that D35… :dunno:

Wish the alternator mounting location was better prepared for the water :wall:

In a few hours I will be picking up my rig with new axles and a little extra TrueTrac traction! :D

I'm a huge fan of the grey, but that military green looks awesome

for a bit of extra torque, say when pulling a boat and trailer out of the water, or getting someone unstuck from a ditch or something like that But wouldn't most use 4WD Lo for that stuff...? :???: guess i'm wierd.

Why would you ever need 2WD Lo? :dunno:

I don't feel that way, and I drive it all the time, including today. Kewl! Guess things have changed! 10 years ago it was a nightmare! But, 40 years ago it was a breeze! I guess it's all a personal opinion. I've spent a month in Astoria/Seaside each year for the past few summers and the traffic crawled between those two cities. It seemed to me that the traffic thins out the further south you go. I doubt it has gotten any better over the years (from what you remember), especially with the population growth the northern part of the beach has experienced.

I like your idea of applying Line-X to the cab floor; do those drain plugs pop out/in easily?

Wouldn't want to stick my finger in that mouth!

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered some Superior Evolution Series Axles and a TrueTrac for the D30. :drool:

The PO could have simply submerged the other in water while wheel’n, and that could have been enough to ruin it (even a brand new one), ask me how I know… :wall:

I got my stock housing re-spooled and its 120v. $200 for the work and instalation.
