  1. No, I did not have them in mind because last I saw, HC only has 3" and 4.5". And metric ton 0" lift was an MJ packs not XJ...Which are not interchangeable. And they still don't have a 2" or less leaf packs..Which is what I think he wanted. Cause if he wants to go 3" then he can pretty much pick whatever brand he wants Edit: I was talking about and posting back to the guy I quoted not OP
  2. I assumed that's why you wanted more lift, hence why I posted that tall @$$ Ford...His stuff doesn't rub...lol Less rubbing doesn't necessarily have to equal more lift. Turning and rubbing can be solved by bump stops, steering stops (like just a washer or two), or a little fender trimming. Just admit it you want a tall truck with big tires
  3. I don't think you will be able to find a brand new leaf packs that will only give you 2". I think 3" is the smallest you can get. You will either have to get an AAL or make your own "bastard pack" or get a longer shackle.
  4. Here's the link for the amazon coils: http://www.amazon.com/Moog-CC784-Variable-Rate-Spring/dp/B000C55VDO Can I ask you why you don't want spacer for only one inche of lift?
  5. Just throwing my opinion in there as I have both an aw4/4.0 (98 xj) and an ax-15/4.0 (92 mj) for offroading if it was me I would get the aw4 and if it was a mostly street truck I would get the ax-15
  6. Well one I was just giving you $#!&- I didnt meant to get your knickers in a bunch. Two, 8.5" of lift is still ridiculous to fit 35s. Low cog maybe 'for the trails' but I'm sure there is some curves on the way to the beach. And 7.5" is a huge shackle...you're not SOA are you? Because if youre not, then a 7.5" shackle would only be 3.75" over stock and having to lift your truck some more to fit 35's would be more realistic then.
  7. And just who is this person to whom you are Lmao at sport? I was loling at the fact that they suggest that much lift for that small of a tire. That much lift is completely unneeded. So it really wasnt at them but what they said. My flares are removed but my fenders are NOT trimmed fyi. And I know what you mean about the turning and flexing. On the stock offset mine would run at full lock. And now with 2" of backspacing they only rub on the bottom edge of the fender but a little hammering took care of that a couple of months ago. And thank you sir, it is not as nice as yours Mr. MJOTM lol ;)
  8. 8.5" to fit 35s? Com'on man...is these the people who you hang out with?
  9. Yep. Those should be 32's, but they're narrow 32's. On top of that, the tread is mild, and they're probably kind of light, being that they're biased towards street use. I'd give em a shot, personally. I bet they wouldn't be too bad. ^ this. And Lmao at the person that said you will need 4" - 5" of lift to fit 32's. OP this is how my 31's fit on mine. Pretty sure I could fit an extra inch or two in there.. Image Not Found
  10. Lol just making sure !
  11. You got that I meant the little gray box to the right of the photo right?
  12. FYI.... In the little box to the right of the photo- if you copy to the URL code you can just paste it in like so : [ URL =http: //s43.photobucket.com/user/benmolina556/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20140202_123817_591_zpsccyaeiwn.jpg.html]http://i43.photobucket .com/albums/e382/benmolina556/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20140202_123817_591_zpsccyaeiwn .jpg [ /IMG ][/ URL] ---spaces add to 'break' the link--- It'll show up like this: Image Not Found
  13. Lol...So how many of you that are preaching to leave your sway bars on have driven a car without them? It's really not as big of a deal as you all make it out to be. haha and I guess none of you are on xj/mj proud... hahaha There is too much Obama-ing going on here. If he does want to run them then so be it. He's an adult. If I don't want to wear my seat belt then so be it. If he knows how his truck is going to react and he knows there is going to be extra body roll then he'll be fine. We all drive Comanches. Youre not batman nor do you have the batmobile. So don't drive like you are/ have it and you'll be fine. imo.. But we really should get back on topic lol The only reason your trackbar shouldnt fit, is that it is too short. Try pushing the front end over and see if it fits then, sometimes the front seems to shift a little to one side of the other getting it out of "alignment"

  16. Well I havent had an update in a while, Ive just been too busy. I got all the MAP, TPS, IAC, and 02 sensors changed out. No real pictures for that, its all pretty self explainitory. The 02 sensor was a pos and pia to do..I even broke the autozone tool. Took a 18" breaker bar and a bunch of heat to get it out. Image Not Found Image Not Found Then my truck died...bad battery and bad starter..the -10 below (actual temp) was pretty rough of em I guess. Image Not Found Factory starter...22 years and 200k miles. RIP little starter you lived a good life Image Not Found Got that redneck heat? Works amazingly well actually Image Not Found A picture I took for #MallCrawlinMonday #PoserStockFlex Image Not Found With working two winter jobs..well three actually...and taking a online winter term..I still found time to go hunting with the old man  Image Not Found
  17. There's four bolts on the floor, per side if you want to pull the seat it might be easier to work on that way? :dunno:
  18. Plastic, mines metal :hmm:
  19. I use photobucket works fine for me I take them on my phone then upload them to the app then link them on the PC Also, you can see my build thread below for my truck on 235s then on 31s all stock. Also theres these rear shocks that also have coils on them that help out the rear a lot
  20. I am NOT familair with the 4bangers as I have an I6...However, as said above if it is bolted to the intake you should just be able to pull it all out as one piece like so
  21. Thats awesome man! Keep up the good work!
  22. Well in my case it was the factory starter that gave out....a moment of silence for her 22 years of service. I got a little bit excited when I saw it was made in cinci lol These are the terminals I use, I cut the POS stock ones off a long time ago. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Metra-Electronics-Stock-Gold-plated-positive-battery-block-terminal/_/N-25hn?itemIdentifier=374187_0_0_ http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Metra-Electronics-Stock-Gold-plated-negative-battery-block-terminal/_/N-25hn?itemIdentifier=388120_0_0_
  23. "So I’m going to make sure the motor turns over by hand first, and then I’m going to check the batter cable at the starter and on the block." I checked the motor and she cranks over by hand super easy no issues. So to continue with my train of thought, I'm going to check the positive cables (since the started clicks, the negatives are good), and if the cables are good then I'm going to toss in a new battery.
  24. I don't know, Ive never changed one out. But I would assume it would just be a matter of swapping out the gear selecter itsself
