1. Well then I guess I stand corrected. Looks like there more oblonged shape helps in roll overs. lol
2. I am happy to hear of her good fortune on the injury front. That flattened roof is oh so common in XJ rollovers ( and probably our MJ's, too, I just lack evidence) and usually occurs during the first roll or two. Then as long was your body is below the beltline after the failure you have the stronger portion of the body protecting you. Imagine being tightly strapped to a high-back bucket as that roof caved... If the roof bent you back or didn't bend you at all and you took the full force of the collapse... True, true all of which you said I agree with. But we can't compare the two like that, apples to apples...you said the libby rolled into 2-3 of water so I'm going to assume it happened offroading, correct?...which is generally at slower speeds..so I bet if he rolled his libby on a corner going 45 mph I highly doubt the roof wouldnt have flatted out like it is with the XJ.
3. Well an XJ would look like this (if I remember right) after 7 rolls at 45 mph. And yes she's fine, she walked away with a broken figure. Sorry for the tinny picture, it was texted to me a couple years ago when I first got my xj. It was my female friend at the time, best friend Image Not Found
4. Alright man, well list it all up and I'll see if it worth the drive, it'll be hard with being in school but it's do able lol
5. Awe looks that little 4banger Hahaha so which one of you bid on this?
6. Yeah Travis it looks great man! I really couldnt beleive it was the factory bed. The inner bedside do look good IMO
7. Correction: The '97 and newer 8.25 is basically as strong as the D44. The '96 and older have smaller shafts that are the same size as the D35, but larger tubes that are less prone to bending. Any 8.25 is better than a D35, but they aren't all equal. Thank you for catching that, I didnt know 8.25s came in xjs pre 97. I'm just jumping out a limb here...but I bet the best way is just to pull a shaft and messure it.
8. IMO that is a 8.25 . And I highly doubt you can get the year it came from by just looking at it and any 8.25 is an upgrade over a D35. And the 8.25 is basically as strong as the D44. It just doesnt have the same reputation the D44 has.
9. That sucks. You paid for all that water.... I was thinking that as well ^
10. I saw this on facebok today. two door xj with an MJ bed tagged on the end
11. My lord.. $400?? I could only wish to be that lucky... :fs2:

13. This is joester1908 's MJ. It has a 3" lift and 31's This is mine stock on 31's. Once I have money I'm getting 4.5" packs from hellscreek and going to run 35s
14. Sounds to me like you need to wait then, hold out until you find the one you want  But if you HAVE to have one the 92 all the way...Just because its a 92 lol
15. Sounds good man! Post pictures after you get'er all done
16.
Well first off you need new leaf packs..you can clearly see leaf inversoin going on..is that from it being weighed down too much? I personally couldnt tell you. Mine have looked like that since the day I got it. lol

17. Odered mine, and have been on for a coule months now..this rig is mostly a pavement pounder for now and I love them. This is how I put my rear shock on after the retaining bolt worked its way off..The shock still had about 1 or 2 inches of drop..but my front bump stops limited me Image Not Found Sorry about the angle, turn your head till the road is going slightly down hill from the right side of your screen to left.
18. 'Merica
19. Mine didnt have one...but I'm the 8th owner so its not that suprising lol
20. Well its LONG shot but it worked for when I was having issues with mine and I didnt know what else to do..but I pull out EVERY fuse and replaced it with a NEW one, with the correct Amps that the FACTORY calls for. don't forget the ones in the bay as well..
21. I don't have 97+ doors just the mirrors! And then as you can see the front clip and finders lol But I'm not saying the fuses will fix it but its worth a shot. I'm sure the 21 year fuses have seen better days lol
22. Yeah what Jeff said ^ now upload those photos so we can see what we're working with
23. I already have done that. I still need to check the one buy the pump still I guess, I'll google it and fgure out how to rebuild them if it comes to that. Unless you have a link or two you have bookmarked and would like to share?? :brows:
24. Hey guys so I have got a question..the other day I was driving my Heep and it was having issues getting fuel, well it died and my gas gauge went to E and the light came on (I had a full tank, just filled up the night before). Well it died and I got it to start back up and the gauge went to Full but the light stayed on. Now a full tank is at the 3/4 of a tank mark and "full" floats between the actually full mark and 3/4 a tank well I guess..any ideas? I'm not really worried about it because it hasnt done it since then..its just annoying knowing my gauge is off. And i guess I should mention both the tank and pump are less than a year old. I would just hate to have it died somewhere between college and home (~250 miles).
