  1. i did pop the headliner down and I only saw the 1 hole that had the wire running through it, but maybe I didn't look close enough...the light wasn't in "great" shape as you can see... Wade
  2. Agree with Pat... at least on my TJ, I had all 4 off the ground (substantially if you believe the witnesses), bent the front axle tube pretty well, looked about like Pat's pic above, drove it home 180+ miles with bowed wheels... My tie-rod (heavy duty Currie) needed to be pressed straight again, I replaced the front axle assembly and other than some tweaked front fenders (from where the tires were shoved when when the bumpstops "failed") but nothing else structurally wrong with the rig. Wade It would appear that neither you nor Pat hit hard enough to bend a bump stop. I'm betting the OP's unibody is bent. My bumpstops themselves up front were busted in multiple pieces...
  3. Just a crummy cell pic... I thought I had one of the interior, but it must have been the other MJ...There was also the exterior Bed Light that I tried and tried and could not get out...the bolts had been stripped something fierce, and I tried phillips, torx and hex and everything just spun.
  4. I picked up a full console in nice shape today from a Cash for Clunkers 1997 Cherokee Sprot at the PnP (got a good deal too)... I wanted to see what kind of heartache I'd be looking at to install on my MJ without also swapping the dash and everything. (I also took the rear mounting bracket)
  5. The D44 was still there... I took a few other things viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20511
  6. Had a better than average day at the PnP today... Paid more than I should have for the Cluster and Tailights, but I wasn't paying attention and just wanted to leave (had been at the PnP too long already...
  7. Vice Grips, check! I'm heading out... Don't know what I need, but that never stopped me before... Wade
  8. Taillights, Bucket Sear Brackets, Interior Dome Lights etc? Not sure if I'll be able to talk the Mrs. into letting me out with family over...
  9. Was it pretty complete (Interior or otherwise?) I've never seen one there before... That's my "Local" JY @ about 30 mins away... Wade

  11. I got a tooth brush from Santa (not sure what he's trying to tell me) I also bought myself a new front bumper for my TJ that came this week (sorry, my TJ is still #1 for $$$ for mods)...
  12. Waiting for the Kids to get to bed so Santa's can visit... Waiting with a new found friend... a 15 Year Old Single Malt... Merry Christmas to all my Comanche Club Brothers...
  13. I have a 4.10 R&P in one axle and a 4.11 in the other and everything is A-OK...
  14. DUDE, that's an awesome amount of snow... that looks like fun!!! it was 70 here today, I wore shorts... /I'm just sayin'
  15. :rotf: it costs about $30 per year per vehicle for fire/theft. [/thread hijack] Wade have you unplugged the CPS yet? Any corrosion inside? Checked all the wire connections throughout the ignition system? I had a hard-start issue in the 86 that was simply corrosion in the positive wire on the ign coil. Yah, I unplugged the CPS...connections looked like new...(or what I assume it looked like new, since that was 20years ago)
  16. well, now that we all have Pete's insurance and financial position straight, how about back to my thread... I drove the MJ to work today, so a few starts between drive to work, lunch, grocery store after work and then home with no issues. I guess I'll call it a fluke, maybe it was po'ed that I hadn't driven in a week or more and I had been spending more time with the TJ... much like a woman, needs the appropriate amount of quality time and attention to keep it happy... I'm not sure if the TJ or the MJ is the "mistress" :dunno: Super Dub Deuce
  17. I've been kind of looking for one too if after JEEPNJR get's his one of you guys want to get me shipping quote to 95066... Wade

  19. Well it just fired up... Now I just can't trust it!!!
  20. Bump for the Day folks, I didn't get a chance to try to fire up yet today. Wade
  21. I'm assuming this is the CPS Plug? Wire looks good all the way down to the bell-housing and the CPS, no melty or anything getting to close to the manifold. Plugged and unplugged...looks like a nice clean connection. I can't try to fire it up until tomorrow AM, but see my previous post about starting W/O clutch vs. with...coincidence? Wade
  22. Finally got it started and pulled into my garage for further evaluation... See here -> viewtopic.php?f=2&t=20237
  23. I told him that I considered my self an "enthusiast" and wished him the best of luck on his sale.... But I didn't send him here, no...
  24. Reply "It is $12K. Comanche enthusiasts know that there were only 20 like mine produced - meaning this truck probably has fewer miles than any in the world like this one."
