Great news, YOU CAN! The problem stems from the portal page using flash to let you access the forum index. I brought this issue up a year or so ago and its still that way, so what you need to do is be smarter than the portal page. Instead of typing in the address in the address bar instead type into google and search for "comanche club". The second result will be the forum index page, from there you can access all the forums. I just manually entered and bookmarked "http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/"

I get on CC on my iPhone all day, every day... most of my posts are from the crapper from my phone... (Ok, only some). Why can't you get on CC from Safari on your iPhone?

Thanks CW... how long have you had that... I have it from pretty solid authority from someone fairly close to the Currie's that they have made some updates to their HD TrackBar just in the past 6 months or so. Wade

OK, not cheap, but what I'm going to replace my Rubicon Express with the Drop Bracket (that I hate, and limits my up travel since my tie rod contact on big stuff on the driver side) put on my TJ...Lists as MJ compatible http://www.currieenterprises.com/CEStor ... px?id=3488

Stock MJ with Dana 44?
SuperWade2 replied to M1A1TankerTom's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
But it doesn't always have it with those packages, mine has the tow package and the Off Road package, and came with the Up Country package, and it still had a 35. This has been leading me to believe the 44 was swapped out of it, especially since the PO built and wheeled XJ's and the MJ was just his DD. Mine was NO Tow, NO Metric Ton, NO Off Road Package, and just a D44 Option with no other packages, with 5 Spd (AX15) and 3.07's from the Factory....Rhyme or Reason was pretty much out the Window @ AMC/Jeep from 86-92 on our trucks. -
What's rare and what's common?

Mine has one... from the Factory (per the build sheet that Jeep sent me)... -
I don't have a clue how far Covington is from New Orleans, but I think I'd call in sick to work tomorrow and drive my happy butt from there down to Bourbon Street... having spent a week there a bunch a years ago, if a Tuesday night Party is AWESOME, I think this one will compare nicely to a Mardi Gras party. BTW>I was rooting for NO... I'm an NFC guy and wanted to see the Saints get their first SB win!

Did a little surface rust extraction (wire wheel).... touched up the interior (where the water was leaking) and my bed... it's not perfect, but should hold for a while... I'd still like to eventually get a LineX sprayed bedliner, but don't have the extra $$$ right now...

how to: install a factory transfercase skidplate
SuperWade2 replied to mjeff87's topic in MJ Tech: DIY Projects and Write-Ups
No worries Jeff, I put the cross-member back up today and got a better look at the skid.... I think at least 2 of the tranny mount holes were blocked and I'd hate to remove too much metal from the skid at the end. Getting regular nuts up in the cross-member and held with anything was going to be a total pain in the butt... Once I get them (getting mailed from a friend) I'm going to use 2 of these nutserts in the Cross-member, I enlarged the cross-member skid plate mounting holes to 17/32" and once seated, will use a 5/16x18 Thread Grade 8 Bolt. Same Nutsert in the Frame side Hole. These are the same nutserts that were provided with my Savvy Offroad Aluminum Corner Armor that I just installed on the TJ, so I asked Gerald @ Savvy to get me a couple extras. Wade -

Can you get to the Tranny Mount nut holes in the crossmember with the skid attached? I got the crossmember hanging outside drying from the fresh paint job, so I can't really see it all together until tomorrow when everything is dry. -

Reviving an old DIY thread... Hey Jeff... I'm getting ready to try to get my TCase Skid mounted this since I got everything yanked to replace the Tranny mount anyhow. If I have a crossmember that DOES NOT have the nuts inside where the Skid attaches, do you have any suggestions. I have an extra Nutsert from another project that I'll be able to use on the frame side. It looks like I can't mount the TCase Skid until the Crossmemeber is back up there (otherwise it blocks the holes to access the Tranny Mount). I'm painting the Crossmember now, so I wanted to try to get this done this weekend if possible. Thanks Wade -
I agree with your first sentence Don... I dislike Eli more than I do Peyton (as my Huskers smoked Peyton and Eli squeeked out a bowl game against them), but am too young to remember Papa Manning. I'm Also an NFC fan... I've heard there are books giving NO 7 Pts... That would almost make me ready to dust off my off shore account for a little extra "interest" in the game. Here is my Sweet SuperBowl TV Rig... I'm going with my Heart as well and would rather see NO Win... Sw2

Welcome...since the previous owner was in Hollister, I assume you are "local" in NorCal? I'm up in Scotts Valley, just north of Santa Cruz and I know there are a couple other guys either a little bit south (Monterey) or a little bit North (San Jose). The local 4x4Club (see my sig below) hits up Hollister a few times a year, among other runs all over the place if your interested in doing some wheeling! Wade

At least I'm consistent! :waving:

Drive out here, we can trade. I don't beleive it would make it (engine) even if I had enough free time for a 5 day round trip... Wade

I'd swap my AX-15 for an AW-4 TODAY, in a second, without a second thought if I could...

Same part # for 90/91/92...and 87/88, which makes be think they might not be selling the right thing That is the correct tranny mount you need for your AX15  Rockauto has it mixed up, and only lists that one mount..........because some tool ordered one before and it was for the AW4 or AX15, not for the BA 10. Oh......and I got a refund on it  SW.......Your going to have the bottom of your truck steam cleaned and chemically treated before you change that mount out, so you don't get a smug on your white gloves. :teehee: Thanks Wildman, I think I'll just get the $20 one from RockAuto then... BTW, there is some dirt under there, I'm pretty sure if I look hard enough!!! :rotf:

OK, any help with a part # or link or whatever to the tranny mount I need (AX15) would be greatly appreciated... I don't mind paying extra for Poly actually...I see Daystar Sells a Poly mount listed for 84-01 Cherokee (excluding Pukey) KJ01010BK http://www.quadratec.com/products/76058_831.htm would this work, or am better off finding a stock... sw2
