he is talking about putting them in the bed. I knew I would catch someone with the 'IN' instead of an 'ON' :D -

I just want to CARRY them in the bed of my Pickup, not RUN them on the MJ!!! -
This is what I was looking for, but just the SWB Version...

I'm apparently an idiot on Searching...looking for the Diagram showing the dimensions of the SWB Bed

Not while driving...no... Well, This was after I bent my TJ Axle... I drove it home 180 miles with my tires lie // \\ and as I started to asses the damage I found this... damn lucky my tire didn't pop off...

Pete has to correct this every time :smart: , when 99% of the time when people say "brackets", they mean the entire bracket and seat slider mechanism and I'm guessing he very well knows it...

Not a bit, I already had the little front heater airbox thing removed from under my dash, but otherwise no mods at all.. and there is a little gap up front that might be a good spot for a CB if I ever decide to add one. I took the big mounting bracket (that mounts under the console storage area) and screwed it into the back of the hump, screwed everything in and it seemed sturdy. There are only the 2 screws in back to that bracket and the one up by the T-Case Shifter holding it on. The one on the right side of the Stick didn't line up to anything. I could have bent a bracket to get screws in there, but it felt OK with out it, at least for now. Wade

Started reinstalling my Interior.... Installed the 97 XJ Console that I got on my last trip to the JY a couple month ago before I had to strip in interior for the last round of leaks. Not perfect, but looks pretty good I think, and I think has better cupholders than the Early XJ one that I had with the aftermarket cupholder (which I'm picky about, since I drink coffee every morning on the way to work)

Another wetness update (or lack of)... We got about 2" of rain last night...sideways, wind, up, down and every direction (a pretty good storm)... Went to look in the MJ this AM... Not a DRIP inside... I still has some paper towels laid out PERFECTLY dry... I'm so happy that I can finally reinstall my interior!!! Wade

Does this count?

It rained pretty good for a good while over night last night...NOT A DRIP inside the rig, 100% dry on both sides... I laid a couple paper towels under the dash and about where I saw the drip from the windshield yesterday. So I'll probably still get the hose out once it's not so rainy and make sure, but I might not have to goto the trouble of insurance fraud to replace my windshield...yes it probably needs to go eventually, and I can call for the best installed price. I'd like to get my interior reinstalled at some point (the growling of the tranny and knocking of the engine are so much more noticeable with no carpet, seats, console, etc! 8)

I know I have zero deduct on WS replaces on my TJ and my Tahoe, but I don't think I added it to my MJ... I was thinking it was $250 deduct otherwise (and I wanted to go as cheap as i could for the MJ...) might be fishy if I swapped to Zero deduct and a few days later tried to open a claim for replacement.

OK.... after using nearly an entire tube of seam sealer all over the place under the hood and under the dash, I might have my underdash drippy's at bay for a little bit (I hope) Driving to lunch today, in a light rain, I happy to be looking over the right and I see a big drip fall from the top edge of the windshield down to the floor (which is still bare metal). I reach up under the lip of the headliner and feel "damp" at the top edge of the windshield, so it appears I had more than a few water intrusion locations. SO, new question... do I pop the metal trim for the out side (how exactly does that come up, big screwdriver and a twist?) and apply a bead of RTV or something around the windshield, or do I pull the headliner out and try to seal from the inside, or both. I swapped my Tranny Mount with a new one from RockAuto (about $20)... I still have "clunking" so need to continue to look at what that might be. I used about a whole tube of 3M Seam Sealed on just about anywhere that I thought water might be coming from (Looks not so great in the Engine Bay), but So far I don't think I've had much water (and we've had some rain)... I need some more verification before I goto the trouble of reinstalling my interior (again). Also, finally go my T-Case Skid Mounted. I didn't have any original mounting hardware, so I used some Nutserts that I sourced from the place that I buy all my TJ Armor from now (Savvy Off Road), and installed 2 in the Crossmember and one in the Frame and then mounted the T-Case Skid with some new Grade 8 Hardware... Something like this.

The RE Track Bar Drop Bracket on my TJ is a Bolt on ....not sure if it's the same for MJ's or not.
