  2. I already did, and asked if he meant 1,200 and not 12,000...hope that doesn't offend, oh well if it does.
  3. /w No pics...   http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/1504086532.html only 88,000 original miles auto, 4x4, 3.5 inch lift kit, 6-cylinder, short bed Super hot looking! runs great!! Collector's item
  4. Ok, slight update... I went wheeling in the Mud with my Club in the TJ yesterday, so didn't look any more at the MJ...here is a pic of my little bit of mud for anyone that cares... Anyhow, tried a couple more times to start the MJ over the past 2 days with no luck... I just now went out with the intention to try to push into my driveway and then winch into my garage since my driveway is too steep to try to push without a few helpers (which I didn't have)... anyhow I pulled the e-brake and was not in gear and started to roll it a little bit backwards... I realized that the steering would be locked and I wouldn't be able to crank the wheels to get the nose pointed towards my garage. Anyhow, long story short, I stuck the key in, while standing outside (and obviously not hitting the clutch) turned the key and it fired right up with NO hesitation WHAT-SO-EVER...Just started like it was new. So I at least pulled it in the garage now...it's still pretty wet from the rain we've gotten over the past few days, and I have kid duty, so won't have much time to look real close tonight. Does the fact that it fired right up (out of gear with no clutch) mean anything in the troubleshooting process, or if it was the CPS, it could have just been a random deal that it failed 5 or 6 times in a row and then worked once? Wade
  5. Nice meeting you today tman...sorry I didn't stick around, as you saw, we had a pretty big group....took off around 3 with the TJ pretty muddy! Will have to try to get down there for some trails...heck even someday maybe take the MJ...
  6. I'm not disrespecting the selection because Ingram's the best player on the best team in the country and he also deserves the award. But there is NO way Suh is ONLY the 4th best player...I don't know how they can call this the award for the BEST player when the voters only vote for Offensive players even if they aren't the BEST overall player at any position on any team... If Neb had been in the top 10 and relevant in the national picture, there is no way that the the RB from Stanford and the Pretty Boy from Texas get more votes (except for all the voters that have admitted they won't vote for a defensive player). The only reason that Woodson won a bunch of years ago as a DB is because he also ran back kicks/punts, etc. Rooting for the Tide to ROLL Texas, and I think it could be UGLY (thinking more than 14pts). Wade
  7. I posted for advice about the Craigslist MJ a few days before I bought it...I found this site from a post, I think from Pete, or JeepForum Right here in Fact... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7466 It's come a long way, but i'm still a flipping idiot... SW2
  8. As soon as I figure out where that plug might be and won't get wet doing so, I'll give it a try... Maybe I can get help pushing the rig up the hill into my garage.
  9. Gotta wait till it stops raining to do anything...Also as another data point, I did replace the fuel rail and injectors a month ago or whatever, but it's since been working fine...
  10. Go to drive the MJ for first time in a few days... it's been raining pretty good for a couple days and had been pretty cold (by CA standards, Under 30degrees) a few nights ago... Turns over like normal, and keeps turning and turning and turning, but never starts. Tried a couple times, assumed I flooded it, swore at it, and got in my TJ to head to my appointment. I replaced the Battery a couple weeks ago since the old one finally pooped out. But since I got it all smogged and stuff and my interior put back in a couple weeks ago, and before it got cold, I had been driving it every day, no issues whatsoever and it had actually been "fun" to drive again. Thoughts? :wall: SW2
  11. We just need to get Pete to round up vendor give away's, and I found this site from JeepForum...
  12. That would be 91MJdude's build. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=18422&hilit=replacement+light&start=15 His look great and I thought about those but he still had to trim 1/8 in to get them in. The Discovery ones pop right in and can be taken out without breaken anything or removing the b-pillar. Have a regular twist in bulb that if I look, probably has a LED replacement. Don't get me wrong and I'm not kicking his at all. Just thought it was great that I found a light that fit's right in and looks good. I'm going to test it on the 86 MJ drivers side for awhile. You have to slam the heck out of that door to get it to close so it should give me a good idea on durability. The stock one falls out even when I shim the crap out of it. This might be sacrilege, but I think the flip up/flip down mechanism on the OEM Lights is pretty lame...I want a light this is ON or OFF and bright... If I want it on, I'll open my door, or turn the little knob on the dash....THE END.

  14. I can't find any freaking MJ's (or TJ or WJ's) in my local JY's much less a dang Land Rover...
  15. 35's on a D30 is not uncommon, Chromoly Axle Shafts Help...you can up the Spline count to 30spline that could also help. Some folks buld or buy axle truss's to help with the strength of the axle tubes themselves (I bent the tubes on my TJ Dana 30)
  16. yeah thats it. and yeah its guna be muddy, and packed. hit me up when you leave and describe your jeep and ill find you there. Yah, I'm not a fan of mud, BUT...we are doing some club skills challenge thing, mostly by the obstacle course I think from 10-2 and then I'm sure some of the guys will want to try to run a couple of the trails too...Jungle and Bonanza Gulch could get interesting in the slop. Here is what I'll be driving...
  17. Is that rut at the bottom of Truck Hill? Will be out there next week with my Club (in my TJ)... I think it's gonna be muddy. Wade
  18. I gotta know what you paid for that tree. It literally would be $10 at the u-cut a half mile from my house. :D $65, and I think I got a decent deal... I did cut to down myself...
  19. I'll start...You'll note that I'm wearing my ComancheClub Hoodie, so this is relevant...
  20. I hate Texas too, as most of the free world does except the people who live there. As for the Heisman, based on the performance of the big games tonight, Mark Ingram, Bama RB takes it vs. Horns QB Colt McCoy who had a sub-par game w. 3 pics. Tebow's history. I'll be highly PO'ed if Ingram doesn't get it. I honestly think Suh from Neb deserves it, but I'm biased...he's the BEST defensive player (with out a close second in my mind) with a bunch of just so-so offensive players... I think your right, I think Ingram wins it, but I think the MOST outstanding player in the NCAA this year is Suh...
  21. DOG GONE... that's really disappointing (I'm talking Neb/Texas)... it worked out about like I thought... Nebraska showed that it's a TOP 5 defense...our offense isn't good, Texas Defense is... I think Bama wins BIG in the Champ Game... I'm normally a Big12 guy...i'm rooting for Bama for the Championship (that and I REALLY hate Texas).
  22. I'm glad that my feeling about FLA was wrong! BTW the Love that Tebow gets from all the media (especially ESPN), is absolutely nauseating. GO HUSKERS!
  23. You won't like this, but gut tells me FLA...I don't and wouldn't put money either way, and I haven't seen as much SEC this year as in the past (BIG12 Guy in PAC10 TV viewing area). I think both defenses are great from what I've seen, but I think FLA's has been better (in the games I've seen)... We are going to be out an about all day tomorrow, so my TIVO will be in overdrive with the couple big Champ games. I just hope my Huskers don't get embarrassed by Texas... I don't think many people give us a shot, and I think we have one, it's just a SMALL one... Our Defense is really pretty solid this year and I think probably the best Def Texas has seen all year. If we can keep Texas from coming out fast and scoring 14-21 quick points, we'll be in the game all night. Our Offense has been pretty Ugly, so that worry's me more than how much Texas will score. Good luck to you though (since I don't really have a FLA/BAMA preference) Wade
  24. A little heel and toe action Although I doubt even the some of the best race car drivers could could do it very well in reverse on an incline. :brows: Do enough wheeling in a stickshift and it becomes second nature. :D practice, practice, practice. I've never wheeled a stick... my TJ is Auto, and my MJ hasn't seen dirt yet (and it might get an auto swap before it ever does... Wade
  25. Nope - different animals. $50-$60 is a good price for one SW2. Thanks Don! Found SWB one that I may get next weekend....
