  1. Cause my lady said i can have 4deetwos when i am 42 but 37.5 are ok for now.
  2. You telling me I can't just toss some 37.5 on there....
  3. I choose DirtBound Offroad stubby winch bumper myself. It is exactly what I have wanted for a long time, I use to only find these type of bumpers for JK,CJ,TJ,YJ, so i was naturally stoked to find someone who made for MJ,XJ and for great price.
  4. Trimmed up the stock fender flares on front and finally got them reinstalled after losing stupid tin brackets. Now I am thinking I need to trim rear ones too.
  5. Nice and thank you for your help. I just did hoses and hcv delete for now to keep it simple. I always though that sensor in thermostat housing was cts, didnt even think e fan, as mine has mechanical fan clutch. Definitely on my list of upgrades I would like to do.
  6. Thamk you and Cool I just got back from getting bulk hose
  7. What year & model did you get your thermostat housing from?

Congulations on the trophy and nice mj too.
  9. I know it is not a great picture, but is this said temp sensor? Also if I get newer style thermostat housing with temp sensor bung and temp sensor, could I bypass it then?
  10. I am about to head to parts store to grab some bulk hose to do heater control valve delete and wanted to know if the hose I am pointing to at in picture needs replumbed. It seems to run from thermostat housing into front of Intake manifold and right out the back of Intake manifold and into heater control valve.
  11. Got valve cover installed with newer style gasket and no more oil leaks .
  12. Pete you know it right, must have more Pow-er, I actually found it on Amazon for under $300 and with free shipping. Couldn't pass it up.
  13. Got aluminum valve cover and new style gasket to combat plastic valve cover warpage and oil leaks. Also cut some heat vent holes and added some skulls cut from aluminum.
  14. Oh the nubs really need to be ground off to keep it from leaking? I just picked up that very same gasket from fel-pro too. I have my old bolts and got new ones also with that thread pitch and size but slightly longer, I more wanted to know how much longer they needed to be, as alimunem cover is a bit thicker and new fel-pro gasket appers to be slightly thicker as well. Looking at your valve cover there....it appears I got a bit more cleaning to do too. Are you planning to paint match body to engine? I totally understand it getting sidelined too, I just had a little one and honestly I rather spend my time with him. Thank you again too.
  15. When you upgraded to aluminum valve cover did you get bolts from donor vehicle or did you buy new ones? It looks like I need to get some that are 1/4 longer, does that sound correct? Also I see filter in ccv hose location in valve cover, did you use a ccv gromet there and just use a filter that would fit or is that a diffrent gromet all together? Thank you for the pictures and any and all help!
  16. Oh nice, the motor will fit like 60lbs of $#!& in a 10lbs bag. A very nice shinny powerful 60lbs of $#!& for sure(no offense at all either, bit envious). At that point I bet you plan to be switching complete drivetrain too. How much time did it take you to get comanche to where it is now?
  17. Oh I can totally understand the want for more power. Still can't take anything away from how nice you got it. Like a gold standard to how a rebuild/build resto should be. What are your plans for what you plan to put into it since the 2.5l came out?
  18. I want more engine bay pictures! Looks really good! I just picked up the aluminum valve to replace crappy plastic one.
  19. Upgraded battery cables, got a hand from my special little helper, got 13k winch with synthetic line installed, used some allthread to drop parking brake bracket an inch, and reused old jeep bracket to drop rear brake line.
  20. RIP Jim, my condolence.
  21. My son Gerik and I
  22. Google has been creeping on me and my jeep's progress. Caught my jeep at one of my brothers, then at my old house, and then not only did it catch my jeep at while I was at work, it also caught me on break passing it to the left.
  23. 8 years ago, shortly after I got it, all stock besides some 235/75 Daytona MTs.
  24. Is temp sender a part of my current intake manifold, is that reason for thermostat housing to have it? Thank you also, gasket below and about adapter plate, what did you make your plate out of, would you want to make me one😅? Mine was 91-95 intake, it has only 2 mounting holes for power steering pump.
  25. Did you have to change power steering pump? Also what thermostat housing do you have on there? I totally agree that the older style with 90 degree bends and heated was a very poor design. What did you use for adapter plate and how did you seal bottom besides bolts, did you use 91 and up tb gasket or just reviewed? I have already obtained the intake and exhaust manifold to do swap, now I just need to plug injector holes and make a plate correct?
