first time I ever took my mj out. The 4x4 was non operational before because of lack of vacuum hoses to the CAD , so I used bulk fuel line to hook it back up and test what my stock-er could do. Nice little 3 wheel action

  5. Engine Compartment Tag.... Does that mean mine is number 3422 off the line??? Any clue how to read beside VIN? Other looks like maybe build date (J259486) next to what I think is production number (0003422) then the other stuff at the bottom (3B 06 4YU) that I am really unsure off. Any help is always appreciated.
  6. new chevy drop shackle with jk shock coil spacer and jk shock new steering stablizer with a coat of olive green here is the first upgrade I did for my mj (with out any idea what I was doing or much mechinic skills, just decided to do a complete axle swap. only took me 4 hours too), found this axle with added welded on support for $75 off good ol Craigslsit.com
  7. On my two wheel drive 86 MJ it had the exact set up as I see in your picture. I also had wonder if it was a stock option, though I did have switches in the cab it seemed funny having a serpentine belt like set up with 2 separate V-belts. I want to also know about electric fan set ups for the 2.5l if anyone has some good info.
  8. I'm following this one as I have a 2.5l myself and would like to make my MJ water fordable
  9. Thank you very much too defiantly a work in progress the Red paint that remains will become green and a neighbor and friend offered to make me a tube bumper with winch mount for the price of materials. The first two are of the same part Throw Out Bearing for the clutch assembly got fried had maybe 8 bearing left in it when I pulled it out. I didn't properly bleed my system after doing a clutch job as well as left old master and slave cylinder in and it cause slippage under excess loads ( foot hard into the pedal, hills, high RPMs, or when you really need to gun it) lead to way premature failure to a less then 1 year old part. The third picture is of the transmission and transfer case that had to be removed to get to said part as well as a few other things that also had to be removed as well.
  10. my 2 inch lift all done before and after picture, running JK shocks at all four corners, Chevy drop shackles for the rear, and coil spacers in the front. Total cost shocks $30 craigslist, Drop shackles $40 AutoZone, Coil spacer $45 AutoZone. Also decided to throw a new steering stabilizer since my was still the stock one. Next my neighbor offered to make me a tube bumper for the front will post pics once it completed and installed. ">http://
