I have a question about this. Once you flush with the hose and drain the radiator, the block is now full of water. If you then add a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water; once it all mixes won't you have a overall mix of like 75% water and 25% antifreeze?
This is a nonjeep question so i am posting in the pub. I would still appreciate any help. I have to replace the rotors and pads on my wifes 2000 neon. When it come to rotors is it better to go with the higher priced or are they basically all the same? I am looking at these, but what are the other holes where the lug bolts come thru?

A bit of a hi-jack, but while on the subject of gutting interior: How much do I have to remove to put new weather stripping around the doors?
I'm thinking I should do my headliner, speakers, door check, and door regulator at the same time.
I have 2 questions:
Arent there trac bars that have a bushing at the frame end similar to the axle end? What is everyones opinions on them(Assuming you replace the bracket too)?
Would the heim work better if you got a new bracket so that the bolt went thru the heim front to back instead of bottom to top?
You shoud wait and just do the lift right the first time. Research some different lifts and either get everything in a kit or buy parts individually.
Motionoffroad has kits and springs
hellcreek sells springs
rubiconexpress has both
those are just a few to look at.
There is also a TSB that chrysler put out and you can buy a kit to fix it at the dealership. I think the kit and TSB were put out for newer XJ's but it works on Mj's.
i thought you were supposed to release the pressure in the system using the scraeder valve before disconnecting the fuel filter or anything else in the fuel line. But after reading the thread about the guy who put 2 stroke gas in his MJ i am a little confused.
Do I push in the scraeder valve and drain the gas from the fuel rail to relieve the pressure before changing the fuel filter? or do I just disconnect the line from the filter first and that relieves the pressure?
I have an 89. What year door checks from an XJ will fit? The one I my drivers door is shot. I'm not sure why but for some reason it rubs and part I the metal arm is actually ground off. They are too expensive to buy new.
