  2. Upside down under the bridge is crazy.
  3. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/veh ... /Jeep.html
  4. Lawn Jarts go for several hundred dollars? I know they've been banned, but thats crazy.
  5. Don, When you click play it says you have to watch on youtube, but the youtube link doesnt work.
  6. Just to post the solution to my problem. It seems my glove box light was staying on. Problem fixed.
  7. Yeah, you can buy it seperate. I think its called a pre-heater hose. I don't have one on my truck anymore.
  8. If you have a 2.5 with an auto trans then I think it should have 4.56 gears. If it does, its gonna be tough to find a donor with matching gears in the front. As long as the bell housing matches up everything else should fit. Why are you against going to a 4.0?
  9. What about using hood pins and elevating the back of the hood near the windshield for cooling. I remember seeing a pic somewhere a while back where someone did that for cooling.
  10. All the u-joints look tight without any play at the caps. Joints at the hubs look good too. That was the first thing I checked. The clunk sound also happens with a somewhat violent feel in the floor as well. The ones on my blazer looked/felt fine then one of the ears snapped off of it. Luckily, it got wedged against the yoke and the drive shaft didnt hit the ground and bounce up thru my gas tank. Mine was the rear joint and it started only clunking in reverse. You can remove the front shaft and see if it still happens. You can put it in 4wd and do the same with the rear shaft out, just make sure you tape a cup on the output shaft or all the fluid will leak out of your transfer case.
  11. Actually it's open loop when it's running off preset parameters. A Renix will go into closed loop before operating temperature is reached, but only if the oxygen sensor is working. A bad CTS, IAT, or MAP sensor come into play when cold. The vacuum line from the throttle body to the MAP, if cracked, unplugged, clogged, or melted can cause a super-rich condition resulting in a no-start. I always get that backwards. I would try pulling the vacuum line on the EGR valve and plug it with a screw (the vacuum line) then start it. See if it makes a difference.
  12. If it's having these problems when you start the engine and it is still cold then it shouldn't be caused by a bad sensor. Until the engine reaches normal operating temp it runs in a closed loop mode from a preset set of parameters. Once the engine reaches normal operating temp it switches to an open loop mode and starts getting signals from the sensors. I would start by cleaning the throttle body and the IAC really good.
  13. If it is from a 4x4 I don't think it will work. The back end for the 4x4 will be flat for the transfer case to mount to it. Then the rear driveshaft will connect to the transfer case. You need the 2WD tranny
  14. I think hes talking about the teeth on the parking brake lever itself. Where you press with your foot under the dash.
  15. I think they call it an air charge sensor or something like that.
  16. I think to get to the fuel filter on those you have to remove the oil filter. j/k
  17. I would try putting a thermometer out there on the house and track the temp readings every hour for a few days. If it stays too low to affect the siding atleast you will have that info for the building rep.
  18. If I remember right, allot of people post this. I think someone found a place that has them. I would do a search thru the prev posts on this subject. One of them might have a link.

    Car Stereo Help

You should post it in the pub. This will probably get moved there anyway.
  20. Your control arm angles might be too steep. I have a 94 XJ that the PO put a small lift(Spacers) and with the stock arms I feel every bump.
  21. Without knowing what state you are in it is gonna be tough for anyone to give you a price.
  22. can't help with any info on that swap, but from reading about other swaps I think you are going to have allot of problems trying to keep the engine cool. Allot of guys have problems just trying to keep their strokers from over heating.
  23. A hurricane down in Florida a few years ago also destroyed a couple of buildings that were used for breeding and scattered hundreds of boas and rock pythons all over. The buildings were on the edge of the everglades which is a perfect habitat. Signed and sent. I hate these laws. Where I live I cannot own a Pitbull. I had one before and it was very protective of my family members but was not mean/vicious at all.
  24. It is probably from the melted wires. When our trucks first start they run in a closed loop mode from a set of preset specs. Once they warm up they run in open loop mode and get info from all the sensors.
