4 wheel drive light doesn't come on?
maddzz1 replied to Luvtohunt's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
If the front drive shaft spins does that mean it is in 4wd, or can the DS spin and it still not be in 4wd? -
rockauto lists different part numbers for them (list it as front pipe) 94 part# 54498 and 92 part# 44626. Doesnt list a difference based on transmission.

Another proportioning valve question
maddzz1 replied to xdustyj's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The maint light might be from the maint timer for the oxygen sensor (not sure if they still had them in 91 tho). It is a small clear type box under the dash to the right of the steering column, just disconnect it. They can't be reset Height sensor: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17968 -
don't know if this has been posted already, found it on JF. The MJ about 2 min in is much nicer than mine and with less mileage. :fs1: :fs1: :fs1: Maybe some of you PA guys can find out what JY it went to and score some nice parts.

I think my Rear Main Seal Is almost gone
maddzz1 replied to Lenard's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Exactly. I thought my RMS was gone too. Actually was leaking down the back of engine and down the inspection plate and oil pan where drain plug is and blowing back on exhaust and everything else. One new felpro VC gasket and leak is gone. -
Fuel Pump O-Ring Pulling Air?
maddzz1 replied to runner6's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Are you sure its just not the normal delay for a renix. Our ECU has no memory so it has to relearn the flywheel each time you start the truck (I think it takes 2 rotations). They don't start as fast as a HO will. -
The links i posted above werent it?

Crime rates dropped in Chicago? :huh???: Are the politicians the only ones committing crimes now? Willy Not sure it was chicago, I will see if i can find the article.
-
All states need to do waht that mayor in chicago (i think it was chicago) did and require everyone to show proof of citizenship to rent apartments, own a bussiness, or anything else. All the sudden alot of people moved out of the city, crime rate dropped way down and welfare claims also dropped, also alot of the little corner stores and restaurants closed up because their clientel moved away.

Sent mine too even tho i will probally never get there. Eliminating cars, horses, and bikes means nobody will ever even get to see 99% of the land that they restrict.

Pissing? I thought that was the rear main leaking. :rotf:

Rear Fender Flares Needed for my 88 Comanche
maddzz1 replied to moconnell's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
how much are you looking for them? pm sent -
My MJ would do this randomly and I would unplug the CPS connector and plug it back in and it would start right up. Hasnt done it in a few months, probally waiting for the temp to drop to single digits before it goes completely. :fs1: Update?

Grinding Sound when turning full left.
maddzz1 replied to Tri_X_Troll's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Did you actually stop and check while it is happening? This happen to me too, but not all the time. The drivers side tire hits the lower control arm but not all the time. If i turned the wheel while stopped and checked the tire didnt rub. I finally stopped the truck and got out and checked while it wass happening and the tire was rubbing. For some reason at certain times the top of the tire leans out farther which causes the tire to rub. not sure why. I need ball joints and wil be doing the u-joints at the same time along with the hubs -
I think you can. there was another site that had two screens on it. Had UFC in one screen and the Maywhether fight in the other. I can paste some of the links if people are interested

I think waiting for their response before posting the company is a good idea; That way someone doesnt just read the bashing part of the thread and not see the outcome. That way whether they rectify the problem or not everyone will know the whole story. Unfortunately lack of pride in your job and laziness are becoming more common in this country. I think partly because of the way employers treat their employees these days.
