  1. The one piece gasket for the AW4 (automatic) is: Felpro part# :TOS18685
  2. I thought the cover over the bulb was the on/off for the individual light. The cover rotates to the side to turn the light on.
  3. I believe wildman came up with a fix for the cracked sending units and, if i remember, will even send you a repaired one if you send him your old one.
  4. If I remember when looking for bushings they were anywhere from 22mm to 29mm.
  5. I have one of the 2 piece double lip seals at home. I will check the part # and post it tomorrow. I think I ordered it thru rockauto EDIT: Found it on rockauto. Part# Felpro BS40612
  6. There is a button thing to push and the headlight switch will slide right out, I'm pretty sure the dash is all one piece and won't come apart other than the knee panel.
  7. I think the colts will win. Is Bob sanders gonna play?
  8. Jim, can you put that picture in the "picture thread" in the DIY section? Link: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=21018
  9. My temp gauge rides right about where yours is. I was thinking my stat moved during the install since I didnt remove/loosen the serp belt. I have a 190* stat. But if yours is still running around the 160* mark on the gauge after fixing the stat I will call it good and leave it alone. Its been like this for a year now, I like to take my time. :D
  10. I'm the opposite, when I hear a noise i just turn the radio up.
  11. Mine is on the drivers side. I think it was originally boled up against the side near the radio/heater. It is now stuffed up on top of the column.
  12. Did you put the 96 valve cover on or was it on there when you got the truck? Did you get rid of the unneeded vacuum lines when the switch was done? (mjeff87 has a write up on this somewhere) Did you use the cork VC gasket or get the good felpro one? Did you use the VC gasket for the 96 (black if felpro) or the one from the 90 (blue if felpro)? you need to use the newer one. I also thought my rear main was leaking, but it turned out the back of my valve cover was leaking oil down the back of the engine and dripping down past the rear main.
  13. It is set to go off around 75k miles i think. It is just to tell you its time to replace your O2 sensor. They can't be reset so just unplug it.
  14. Did anyone send him a message? Then he can't say he didnt know
  15. 89 pioneer 4x4 4.0/aw4/231 full skids short bed
  16. /\ Didnt know I had an avatar but was asked to take it down because it was not suitable for work  and possibly was. I agreed so i took it down.
  17. /\ Takes pics of his MJ next to a house with a deck
  18. Can freakjeep post the original back up so we can see it, not in his sig, just in this thread. If it is actually bigger than the monitor that is great. :clapping: :rotfl2: His sig was taking up more space than the actual thread he was posting in.
  19. Good luck man. Stay positive. You seemed to have a very positive attitude last time you were in.
  20. I had an 80 something cutlass salon (didnt know there was such a think until i got this one) that was previously owned by two friends. Someone decide to put T-tops on it. They were sealed all around with silicone which was then cut at some point when someone decided to take the T-tops off. The t-tops didnt lock properly so you needed a piece of wood and 2 pennies on top of the latch. The constant shower everytimr it rained would drench my shoulder. This caused the floors to rot out so there was a log from the back of the drivers seat to the back of the rear seat to stop the seat from tipping back when you hit the gas. It also had no key. There was a rod on top the column that you pulled out to start, then pushed half way in to run, then in to shut off. Eventually I crashed it.
  21. There was a group buy ATTEMPTED on here a while back. It didnt end so good. There is a site you can order from, someone should post the site. I can't remember it
  22. How about a link in the DIY section maybe :dunno: with just pics? You know, those ones that everyone is always posting "theres a pic somewhere around here, I'm sure someone will post it" Like the one Pete posted in the adjust steering wheel thread
  23. I only know it from Howard Stern. I believe the definition is: The act of pouring over. Of course, Stern uses it in a different definition, kind of
  24. I think you also need the TCU from the donor. Are they both 2wd or 4wd? or one of each?
  25. I don't think there are too many places where enough water can pool for you to hear it sloshing around other than the heater box. From your pics, and the pics Paul posted, I think your onto something with the heater box. Atleast its not your DD. Take your time and pull the dash. Remember, your SUPPOSED to ENJOY working on your jeeps.
