ok i would check that first, pull it out of the dash make sure your getting power to the switch. the bulb could be burned out, but if your not noticing a difference than it prolly aint working.

when i have mine in the comfort mode it kicks the rpms up between gears when its shifting. does the little light come on when you have it on power side? what color is the fluid? it should be reddish

I've noticed that a lot of people on here say that the comanches with the 2.5L and the 4 speed had 3.55 gearing, and i could of swore that the tag on my 86 2.5L AX-4 said it had 3.73 gears. could i have been mistaken? or could you get different sizes? :dunno:

Mine sounds like a big V8, i was surprised :D it gets annoying sometime's, but when you go to pass someone and you stick your foot in to it, it makes up for it. :brows:

Welcome :cheers: I had a 12" glasspack on mine but got rid of it, made it sound like to much like a dang riceburner :ack: I straight piped mine, just make sure you enough pipe for backpressure.

I guess it really aint a repair but, I went to oreillys to get some cap's for my vaccum lines for when i permently fix my CAD, (you know moving the fork over), got the cap's, walked outside and decided what the heck, ill need oil any way and i got the tools, so i just did the switch there in the parking lot. :D

Same tranny/ Gears, My MJ as bigger tires/lift and it does weigh more, and i know its not as fast as it would be at stock, but will get up and move like nobodys bussniess, :yes: i did notice at the higher speeds it did have more get up and go then the mj.

I went and test drove a 93 xj today, and i had never been in or driven an 4.0L High Output, That thing blew me away :bowdown: So I wanna know what is the difference between the engines, What makes it have so much more power?
