Scumbags....

No comments, I just wanted to re-unite the two Scumbag threads. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
2. Opps... I thought I saw a "or" in there..
3. Ughhh that truck is ugly..... :ack: You need to just let me take care of it for you.. I think I'm going to be sick just looking at it.. :nanner: As much as it'll hurt to take it off your hands, I guess thats what friends are for... You don't need such an nasty, fugly truck like this one... :rotfl2:
4. Thats more like it. ;)
5. Oh yeah,, nice cooling mods... (I'm really just jealous... :nanner: ) I like the new cooling can. still jealous... :nanner:
6. :dunno: what? The oil filter . . . why? Because of their high rate of failing. Just do a simple "fram" search, you'll see.. To many people have had bad things happen because of that low end filter. Read somewhere here that our engines are a carbon engine, meaning they don't burn up alot of the carbon when combustion happens. All that crap gets circulated through your engine, the only defense is the oil filter. Fram is a crap filter.. I run NAPA Gold or Puralator on all my engines.. >>>JUST SEE FOR YOURSELF<<< here's a good writeup too... http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/oilfilters/index.html
7. Yes,, but don't burn your truck to ground getting it there. You can run a cone, I'd just cut a slightly smaller hole then the hose in the intake tube and seal it with a lil RTV. You'll be OK, but don't remove it...
8. mj's had one pieces...i pointed that out already. cj's had two-piecers. Good deal.. I hated the two piece axles.. Spun two. First one torqued it down to 250 ft/lb as told, a week later spun it,, second one went to 325 ft/lb and never had a problem with it.
9. Bad thing with the AMC20's is the two piece axles. I think crown and some others, makes a one piece though..
10. Is that the metal arch that holds the flare on?
11. I twisted a drive shaft in two in my CJ7 trying to pop the front wheels off the ground having 35" swampers... :shake: I know, I know.. I was only 17... It made the biggest pop and started to beat the hell out of the bottom of the floor.. It scared the all living jeepers out of me.. I thought I'd $#!& meself!! Thankfully I was only 200 ft from the house, I pulled the yoke out of the transfer case, and crept it on home in 4wd. I was lucky it broke near the rear end. The small piece was too short to hit anything, so it just flopped around till I got home. I'd thought I'd died that day.. Never tried that again.. Good thing about making wrong decisions is you know better not, next time!
12. lol micro-chip... hehe,, so true....
13. Gezzz, I have only one girl for now, and I was bald before I (I mean "she") had her, and shes two now so.....!!!! :D I'm guessing you live up north somewhere, and you like the number 20... Welcome to the Comanche Club!!! Grab a cool one and have a seat, kiss your free time goodbye, careful with the Tan sofa (Chico's spot) and don't stare to hard at the poster above (Chicos spot).... I'm sure you have lots of info stored up in your noggin, so don't be afraid to share, or ask any questions!
14. Not to hard really. Just so happens Juan (Rjeep) on NAXJA just rolled his 2 door. He is chopping the top so he had no need for the door switches. I traded him my old tailgate for the drivers door panel and switches. The little cover plate was a PIA to switch! Really... It wasnt plug n play with the switch?? I have some 01 doors, but I think Ill use the extra switches for something (power rear slider ((I WISHED)) or power tailgate or something in the way)... What all did you have to do to make the 2 button work? I was guessing the connectors diff, but havent found a 2 door 97- up with power??
15. And using a fram.......
16. I had the tilt problem in my seats. My problems were not the cables but a little sheet metal cable holder (lost of words on exactly what it is) Think a bicycle brake cable the one end has a little round metal end that inserts into the hand lever, then the cable sheath goes into (most the time) a split adjuster that you use to tighten the cable pull. Well if you take the back off your seat you'll see, and you just have to straighten that "cable housing stop" and then it should work. I guess another thing to help would be to grind a little off the hook on the bottom. Does any of this make sense??
17. O my,,,, my head hurts...... :ack: Hope everyone had a good one.. Happy 2009!!!!!!!!!!!
18. Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And auld lang syne? For auld lang syne, my dear, For auld lang syne, We'll tak a cup of kindness yet, For auld lang syne! And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp, And surely I'll be mine, And we'll tak a cup o kindness yet, For auld lang syne! We twa hae run about the braes, And pou'd the gowans fine, But we've wander'd monie a weary fit, Sin auld lang syne. We twa hae paidl'd in the burn Frae morning sun till dine, But seas between us braid hae roar'd Sin auld lang syne. And there's a hand my trusty fiere, And gie's a hand o thine, And we'll tak a right guid-willie waught, For auld lang syne Have A Safe And Happy New Year!!!!!
19. Very nice!! This should be moved to the pub.. Thats a pretty deep river...
20. I have two needing fixing. One in my MJ spins, one in my XJ is broken off. Anyone ever replaced one? I was thinking to knock drill'em, out and just put a bolt through the floor. The MJ one is in that raised "rail" in the floor.. Any known options? TIA....
21. Probably flagged for stupidity... :shake:
22. OOOO I C...... Make sense to me...
23. Whats a c-clip? And why would anyone not like them?? :dunno:
24. Oh one more thing........ It may seem like a no brainer, but make sure the column you get has a key, and works,,,,,,AND... no other keys will turn it.
25. It'll fit. I put a 93 (I think) in my 89. Plug in play. Not 100% what year, but it has the double sided Chrysler key. As a matter of fact, It was the 7 cut key. I'm pretty sure they changed the columns in 95 to the newer style with airbags. I know cause I've been searching for a column cover from a 95-96, to put replace my 96 XJ's busted one. In 97 they changed the key a bit, the hazard switch, and the cover to fit it all, so 97 up won't fit,, been there. BLHTAZ do you remember what year the keys you sent me???
