  10. Spools aren't bad for a street only truck for rear are they?
  11. The first XJ I had used to do that.. It would kinda feel like it was shifting into passing gear and back to OD when on the highway around 60-65. I never got to fix it because of it burning to the ground because of leaking injectors. But I always thought it was the kickdown cable needed adjustment. :dunno: I feel your pain though.. Its annoying as hell
  12. Ahhhhh... Recall... ;) Dats right baby!!! :clapping:
  13. I'm waiting to see the liberty light bar! I seen another truck on here with one but not up close. Pretty sweet...
  14. Yelp... Thats what I paid for the one going to the XJ. A lil bit more for tax and all I'll have to look on the receipt when I get me Jeep back from getting a new cat put on ,,, for FREE!!!

    Aw, too bad:

WTF are you saying???? :hmm: R u DrUnK???
  16. Well no $#!&... You live in WI.... I can't beleive you paid 250 for a bed.... :rotfl2: lol. the 87 was $750...in scrap (which was leftover from the rest of my projects lol). the 89 (red swb) I had was $1300. the black 87 I just sold a couple months ago was $600 but then $200 to get into shape. looking at another one (rust free southern 86 2.8 liter) for $600...simply to scrap everything in it but the body, because the diesel's body is not restorable. generally you're right, but even I'm having a hard time finding these jeeps for a good deal now. lol... don't feel bad,, I paid DEARLY for my "new" bed.. Got it cheep.. Had to drive a while to pick it up though..

  18. Weird I have the same little spot of rust in the same spot on my tailgate.. :hmm:
  19. That's because you don't have to work on them everyday! lol... not any more.. But I have and even though I cussed and bled on, under, over and in them, I still love those big dusty beasts.. I can do an injector pump in about an hour, but still took me about 45 mins cussing a d@mn exhaust clamp, and I can't stand changing out a generator. They always killed my back, big arse mofo round chunks of steel.. Oh and the freakin drain plugs on the fuel tanks..... ughhhhh  Humvee's were the closest things to home while deployed... Never knew about the Jeep grills and AMG having to pay royalties for them though.
  20. :agree: I like Humvee's... I know their big, heavy, and not as articulated as jeeps, but I still like them..
  21. Have a fun, safe trip! :driving:
