What it means is when you switch t to high level it lets just the high freq. pass. you'll here the cymbals ring, and not the thump of a bass drum. rem is for remote and you hook it up to the power antenna on your head unit, or if your head unit has a remote wire, usually a blue wire. The remote turns your amps power on when the head unit turns on.

I have a powered 10" TVC Bazooka tube in my Honda and it is really loud. It was really easy to install too.

I saw a Scout with rear steer before. The guy had what looked to me just like a control value off a back-hoe, and ram's in the back. It was strictly for trail though. I hate to see what would happen on the road if something let go in the rear.

I don't know about that. it has the right bumper, similar brush guard(the real ones go stright across on the top, not with that dip, and folds down with the forward tilting hood) , and the hood panel is 100% mil-spec. the grill looks close enough too. I wonder how he made the grill.. I'd rock that xj for sure.

So I guess I'll go ahead and log my progress on my 89 ................... . . . . day of sale for $250 :eek: !!! don't b HAtEIN !!! . . unexpected to say the least... The red column is KILLIN me !! Finally got a good idle : Because .......... New plugs, cap, and wires helped 85% AND>>> Before Was too excited to get clean parts back on forgot to thumb the cam.. Wildman is the man to ask for hard to find parts!! Wiring harness : Got me some alternators to swap.. one on left off a '93 S-10 4.3L Works fine... but you have to re-clock the housing.. it was pretty easy to do. Rebuilt the mj's alt. First thing to drop cash on was better tires, just happened these were attached to them :brows: seats get a band-aid until something else comes along.. Took some mothers metal polish and cleaned the cluster lens!! Brake work,,,, ummmm lots of it.... did the rears DAYMN these came out looking great!!! Used some high heat silver then some anodizing paint. I wish I could of mixed a lil yellow in the red to make it briter but looks fine. New foggers!! Well after two tries I think I got the VC the way I want it. It got a lil lint in the paint, but it'll rub out nicely.. Took out all the pre-air heater and covered the holes left from the parts.. Painted my air box to match the vc!!! . . Finally came up with a way to make my double booster work... I thought about this for a while now and this is what I came up with. I chucked a 3" piece of 3/4 round stock in the lath and bored a 3/8 hole through the whole length... Then swapped bits to 1/2 and went in 1.5 on one side. Cut my old single boosters rod a lil less then 9/16 starting from the round part and measured the new double boosters rod and cut it where it would butt up to the old rod and be the same original length... I had to press the old rod into the sleeve to make it butt up against the 3/8's hole and threw it in the vice on the drill press, center punched me three spots on the sleeve. One going thru the old rod and two going thru the new. Drilled one hole thru the sleeve and old rod... I had it set up in a way that I could then slide the new boosters rod, still in the booster, into the other side of the sleeve and drilled the other two holes. Those holes were 3/32 for a few roll pins that got pressed in holding everything together. Finished it all up by using a belt sander to take all the edges and any exposed roll pins off. . . My goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will update as progress continues!

wow I like it! But I hate how ppl get Hummer and Humvee mixed-up.. There is a difference..

the switches go in the center console (full center console) on the lefthand side right in front of the armrest. I installed power mirrors for my brother and located the switch to the right of the steering column, in the switch panel. I'll take pics. if you mount the switch in front of you, switch the left and right wires...otherwise left is right and vice-versa (ask how I figured that one out.... :oops: ) Yeah I have the center console so pic would be a :thumbsup:

where does the switch go? I found some , kinda pricey though, they are for a xj. But just the mirrors not any type of switch, was hoping I could find a xj switch too.

did mj's ever have power mirrors?

The farthest I've driven my mj is about 5 miles... It's going to be on the road soon, so do 2wd get the Death Wobbles? When JEEPERZ said something about hitting a bump at 80, I kinda pucked-up at the thought of what would happen if it happened to me. I have never felt them what happens??

One of those lines is not a return but a line that comes off the prop value in case you lose front pressure. In that case you do lose pressure, line pressure is redirected to the rear for brakes. From what I get from it you go from the front prop value to another tee then to the soft line,,, not 100% but I think thats the way..

TRUE STORY.......... Stephanie, my son, who was 11 months old at the time, and I were going to Charlotte to watch my sister-in-law act in a play. It was about 3 o-clock and was drizzling just a tad. We were about an hour from the city when we were stopped at a red light. Just up the road a guy wearing a a lot of camping gear was hitch hiking. Now I know what hitch hiking was about, I lived in Killington Vermont for a few months and worked at the lodge. I had to hitch to work or play whenever I had to. The worst thing that had ever happened was the driver burned one with me, so I felt it was a way to pay it forward. So without hesitation I pulled over and told the guy to hop in. He threw his backpack in the rear seat with Steph and jumped in. I told him where we were going and how far I could take him. He was kinda quite and very weird. As we were driving down the road I looked in the rear view and Steph was ghost white!! She kelp pointing to the guy's bag.... I was like WTF! I asked the guy " So, what's in your bag?" He replied to my horror, " It's none of your business." ,,,, Ummmmm yeah,,, I was FLOORED!!! to say the least. I replied with a laugh,,, "Nah really what you got in that thing?" He replied the same "It's none of your business!" ............ OK its one thing to to be an @$$, but this was to much for me to handle.. I said with a firm voice "OK man I was nice and pulled over for you cause it was raining and gave you a ride. The least you could do is ease my mind and just tell me what you got in your bag." Same reply, "I told you it was none of your business." Well as he said that there was another stop light I was coming up to. Let me tell you as soon as that thing turned green I reached over and was so quick it should be a world record and fling the door open and pushed that MF'er out, and burnt the rears get the f#@k out of there...... The crazy thing is went about a mile down the road and we still had the fools bag!!!! That was one the scariest times of my life!!! I will never pick up a hitch hiker again in my life..........

I think I saw that thing on a tour in South Africa... no wait that was Toyota, not a Caddy pimped out with a 25mm aa gun. I'm glad cause that thing looks mean.
