Wonder who the heck that is????
Wahoo... I'll get you another clock,, might be able to get the 91+ one for you if you want to deal with the wiring.. I didn't know there were 4 different kinds of clocks though..
yea its plug 'n' play with the swap of sensors..two of them. You have to get the large oil pressure sensor, and a coolant sensor. there are two kinds of speedos. One electric, and one thats cable driven.. you need to find a cluster that uses a cable, and you can get those in 90 and below xj's.. (i think thats the right year..correct me if i'm wrong) When you find a donor get the coolant sensor, and oil pressure sensor... Swap the sensors with the cluster... Thats it.
Cool... I just saw the bid history.. your right.. I still feel bad though..
At least it will go in a MJ!!!
Man you know those guys can't read.... duh... j/kin.. For about 4 sec's I though I was going to be stuck with a gauge cluster I really didnt need...
dude.... Well man take care,, drink alot of water... lots of water cures everything... thats what my 1SG said anyways... He wouldn't lie... (would he??)
i'll sell you the switch.
You bought it???????? ughhhhhhhh...:headpop:  :hateputers:  :grrrr: . kidding.. You should have told me I'd let you have it for the bid I had.. I really didnt want it, just couldn't sit and watch it sale for 20 bucks!! lol
well crap..... someone snuck up and snatched it up,, I swear I was winning with 4sec's left... oh well.... I really didnt want it.. I hope the guy who got it likes the fact I pushed the price up on it!! hehe. I was really just wanting the cool switch!! lol
Errr, that won't work JT, unless you swap out the circuit foil piece on the back of the cluster. On the tach-less clusters there is no provision for the tach input from the connector.
I know I meant to say i'd swap the speedo,,, or I might just use it,,, I have a electro speedometer cable..
If you take the lighter off (housing) and unscrew the back part you will see two clips that you can push in that holds the lighter in and when it gets hot the metal expands and allows the lighter to pop out. you,,you,,,you,,,,,, smoker........ lol
I don't think that paint has a hardener, but I'm sure he'll have to thin it a bit, unless he has a a large enough tip for spraying a thick enamel. Well,, I don't know how thick it is but it would seem to be a lil thick.. It would be alot cheaper then buying a whole lot of cans..
Talking about carpet,,,, I got some samples from <<>>
I have to say the carpet they have might be a little more but the quality was top notch.. I'll be getting a set from them when I get to that point,, for the mj and Stephanie's civic... top notch carpet!!
try pulling the cluster and removing the screws that hold the fuel gauge in and give them a good scrub with a wirebrush.. and the contacts on the cluster too..
Man, wish I had thought about that to start with... Slapped the Thing in my Dewalt Cordless, and 2 Full Batteries later, Drivers side was done...took about 15 minutes start to finish...
I like it... Still not sure about the lower black trim piece though...
SW2
If you keep the others then I'd put it back on. I'm not keeping mine though.
