  1. Dude that site spyware trojan'd my computer. I couldn't even delete it until I shut the site. "Trojan-Spy.HTML.Fraud.gen" Risk: High WTF??? For real man?? What program you using cause my pc didnt pop smoke..
  2. Any updates on that lower boot yet??????? Did you get that Quadratec boot yet???
  3. I have to respectfully disagree. I build furniture for a living and deal mostly in oak. I love the grain, as there is almost nothing like it (except ash). Do some custome stuff in cherry and maple, but don't really like them, except for the smell when cutting or machining it. But nothing I've seen beats black walnut. :brows: Not even oak, and definitely not cherry. My F100 had a bed made out of 5/4 decking boards, stained early american (Minwax #230) and about 5 coats of poly. Why decking boards? Because pine lumber is CHEAP. If I'd do a wood bed for a show truck, I'd probably go mainly oak with black walnut accents. All black walnut is not affordable. But what do you think of that trex products?? My dad's a carpenter and has used that stuff.. he said its good for outdoors, but you still have to drill all the holes out and then use screws,,
  4. Yeah 24 bucks foe a 20 at most oz can of paint....wait,,, 12.5 oz??? No way man,,, by the time you bought enough to do anything you could have taking it to a body shop.... Think of the can as being as big as a can of coke.
  5. I think its a bad idea on the trex,, I mean wood beds are pimp,, and I think if you used that trex its well what I would call rice.. the whole purpose for the wood is its beauty.. like some sanded down cherry then with about 2 inches of poly dumped on top.. Back in the day yeah it what they had available,, but now days its the whole look,, and I know I can tell a difference in real wood and that plastic stuff... As for the jy dog,,, well turn the other cheek,, dude mighta been having a bad day,, sounded like he was really into working on the el and probably pissed at his kid for allowing him to be borthered with,, or he could be just a d! thats what John Wayne would do... :D
  6. looks like a safety orange,,, I love spray paint,, esp in black,, flats, semi's, gloss,, I'd rather have a can of black spray paint then have to prep the gun, pour the pint and mix it up spray, then just to have to clean the gun after your done,, because unless I'm spraying a expensive finish on something I'm not going to waste time on all thats involved.. besides,, most things that get painted black are trim, and sometimes bumpers and other small things.... Rustolem is a good can of paint,, not to bad on the pocket either.. I like mar-hyde too,, it always leaves a good finish,, Dupli-color,, when I'm at autozone or advanced,, i use it alot just cause its readily available to me and inexpensive.. SEM is my favorite though,, because its good for plastics, and most small lil things I paint are plastic.. but it is costly,, most time you can only get it at paint stores.. The thing about buying paint is knowing exactly what you want to do with the project, because theres a million different colors and types out there,, The lil gun handle is nice also,, you get 10x more control of what your doing and gives you better results,, plus the fact if your going to paint for a while then your hands will thank you....
  7. lol... ?but,, you knew what I said, si?,, so its all bien,, To the op clean your engine bay first then change the gAskEt.
  8. Careful with that Way, brake clearer works good and will take off more then just grime, but paint, and might melt some plastics and rubbers..(not the prevention kind,, I know you all to well :D ) Another thing is thats stuff is very flammable, so don't use it when your engine is running, and disco your batt.. just to be on the safe side...

  23. :agree: I can vouch for that.. I've seen some KRAZY things in ATL..... even geos with spinners,,, wish I had my cam for that one..
  24. Thats a hard question to answer... I get most of my paint from Forest City Paint supply.. that is where I buy SEM products.. I goto Carolina Paint & Supply to get PPG products.. I use K36 as my #1 primer.. over a ds sealer and the Deltron line of paints,, along with a DC line of hp clear.. well that is if I'm going to spray something,, otherwise I just use all sem products,, and alot of dupli-color.. You need to goto a automotive paint store and talk to the guys there.. they will set up up with what you need.. You need either a grinder or some sand paper.. 80,180,320 grits will get you started,, go get you some sem acid etch primer, and then a can of primer sealer. find out how the rust is first,, then go from there.. muric acid works good and you can get it from lowes or home depo,, brush it on the rust,, let it sit then rinse it off... dry it off quick with air or even a hair dryer then spray the acid etch on it... don't let it sit,, get something on the spot as soon as possible to keep it from flashing rust..
  25. Pete!!!! I need some more CC stickers :D lol
