  1. its possible, check your air filter. check plugs. run the tank empty or close to and put some new stuff in
  2. air filter or bad compression most likely
  3. have you checked all the plugs
  4. if that dosent work hook it up in a paralel from one of your lights
  5. take a look. quite possible why your loosing power and back firing. low back pressure leads to valves not seating and then back firing. more likely a cat than a muffler
  6. exhaust isn't louder than normal is it?
  7. make sure your wires arent burned up!
  8. well if its a trail rid then get the sawz-all out can start cutting!
  9. don't forget the clutch fluid resivoir
  10. okay so start with these three things 1. Air- probably not the problem 2. Spark... you got it maybe its not times right and check your order 3. Fuel- inspect fuel filters and test fuel pressure and clean injectors when you have these all figured out and it still don't run then we gots a BIG probem

  14. oh yeah a bad valve cover gasket will do the trick. run your jeep with it off one time its fun!
  15. if you run the stock airbox you can cut out a section of your hood and use 3'' hose off of a wet/dry vacume and run it up your corner post, seen it done and its pretty b@d @$$
  16. TH400 should work well in an MJ then you can put on a NP208 or something along those lines
  17. just have the two springs at the same point for the rubber peice you can use anything! a sponge would work nice, cut it to fit and glue it on
  18. ahh cool no i have K10 its a Chevy but i think a nice cruise control would be a nice addition to my corperate 4 speed
  19. if you got the time and the tools to do it do coils out back and ifs up front. I'm sure a ranger ifs system wouldnt be too bad

  21. the negative on your coil is for a tachometer... not sure that has to do with anything but it dosent have to be hooked to anything
  22. you are talking about the fuse covered by metal? if yes once they cool down they will work again and I'm pretty sure XJ's and MJ's had em.
  23. its very possible its a bad spark plug. my quad had a bad new plug and my friends GS500 had new plugs and one was garbage i would try swapping the plugs or using a voltometer off your coilpack/distributer
