  1. I wheeled this thing over the last few days. :brows: It got totally abused. The only damage to speak of was a broken drivers window, when I tried to use it as a pivot  The window was down, but glass still went flying  My observations on my setup. Need to bleed my brakes a lil more. The puke goat isnt going to last much longer. It sounds like the it has rocks in it, and is leaking fluid rather quickly now. The RK kit flexes well. My limiting factor was my shocks. If I could fit some 14" travel ones.. it would do way better. Supposedly there are a few pics with my tire 4-5' in the air. I need a set of tsl or ltb's on my rig With some aggresive bump stopping I could clear 35's but 33's work well
  2. I want to open one around here  In reality it wouldnt work where I live, but near a college campus or military base where you wouold have plenty of "nurses" and "patients" willing to have procedures done it would work great. :brows:
  3. pingpong

    Chicks!

I thought the same thing  Canadian Goose is in season now.... YUMMY
  4. He needs a t-case drop, for right now. A long term solution is a SYE.
  5. Got back today, and I am waiting on pics. It was a blast. I didnt break anything but a window and a mirror   Basicaly had a few issues with learning to wheel a manual trans, but nothing major. Almost rolled on upper 3 I was told left front tire was 4-5' in the air  but I hammered down on it and made it fine  I will post pics and videos when I get them
  6. I should have posted this earlier, but never did. Its this weekend in Nelson county VA. This is the same place they hold Camp Jeep :D I will post pics and videos when I get back.
  7. mBy the way you said to racy for the site.. I figured they would be naked  I was so diappointed
  8. Wow.. I have never seen that done before  I think you are foing to run into exhaust leak issues, as well as craking as it heats and cools. Maybe after you get it mocked into place, and where you want it, you can lock in the way, and make a real header using the correct material
  9. Not to take anyone sides... but it is always "buyer Beware". I always ask are there any fitment issues. What kinda problems have past installers had. That plus you did damage it during install. It is never a good Idea to force somethig to fit on an engine. :brows:
  10. To do the swap you will need a bunch of things. First a tranny and t-case. Automatic flywell auto matic Throttle body The TCU located under the glove box on the lower interior trim panel Trans wiring harness Transmision shifter and to tap the rear most holes on your rig by your x-member. When I get back/or grenade the puke goat I plan on doing this swap in my xj I call the TURD As for where to buy parts. NAPA The only thing adance and autozone are good for is oil,and carb cleaner (both cheaper then at napa, and the same)
  11. Yeah those prices are way low, and then you still have to have the shipped
  12. I have always been happy with my lock rights... plus I got a decent deal on the rear d44 one used/new. Yeah I am happy with the cage, but it will get one or two changes made to it. I am going wheeling this week.. actually leaving in a few hrs. I plan on testing the cage, and seeing howe much abuse the pukegoat can take :driving: :dunce:
  13. Ended up being a bad master cylinder. Drove the Turd down the road today to get gas. The 4.10's made a huge difference in acceleration and overall driving, I actually can use 5th now No weird vibes or handling. I can tell it is going to take a lil getting use to the lockright in the rear. It is kinda loud and when you stomped the go pedal it chirps tires :D
  14. Whe I watched the story on the news.. They had a young girl talking about how she had stretch marks and looked really old :brows: All I have to say is I too was crushed when I seen it on the news, but figured some of you all would have seen or heard about it too.
  15. http://www.twincities.com/ci_10448969?s ... st_emailed
  16. And other strange handling quirks. Just ask anyone who has ever driven a CJ. :brows:
  17. Well the saga continues. After locating a prop valve and removing the spring. Bleed the brakes and have the same symptoms. Switched master cylinders, and this one appears to be bad. Ordered another one. It will be here tommorow. I am hoping it is that and not a siezed caliper... if it is the later.. I guess I will order one and install at the campsite
  18. What do you all think of the 33 year old woman who was arrested for trying to pose as her 15 yr old daughter. I can't believe she got away with it.. as long as she did. The way she got caught was even funnier.. she wrote a bad check for her uniform and pom poms
  19. Death Wobble is always caused by operator error, or neglect. :brows: Not checking an adjusting caster after a lift==death wobble. (operator error) Expecting loose parts to work right== death wobble. (operator error) worn or broken parts==death wobble (owner neglect)
  20. He even said he beat on it :D
  21. OK here are some pics for you all Here is the d44 hanging.. I was waiting on the machine shop. They took a week longer then they said and charged me double what they said. Here are the axle retainers. on the right is the D44 one. On the left is a tj rubicon d44. they use the same pattern as the newer d35. The reason for using the Rubicon one is.. the spacer is all ready built in. Saves having to have a spacer machined. Here is a pic of the retainer plate and calipers on the axle here is a pic of a few of the left over parts Back on all 4 and off the trailer Pic of the spare Still left to do. I need a ZJ prop valve, brakes are weak at the moment. Make a hi lift mount. If time allows finish rock rails, if not... God Help the sheetmetal
  22. This is a question that High Honda should be able to answer or Randy's R&P could.
  23. I have a set I use on the trail  and they work ok for an AT I plan on changing them out, but not because they are AT's but because I have a set of dunlop mud rovers
  24. They are on my camera I swear :D Just havent had much of a chance to get on the site. Update : Got the parts back from the machine shop. They ended up charging me double what they quoted me. I kinda expected that.. I didnt expect them to drill 16 holes and bore the center hole out as well for 50 bucks  Over all the install was a PITA. Ended up having to remove the E-brake hardware to get the flange onto the studs. Even with that the studs are barely long enough to get a full nut on them. If I had to do this again I would change the studs out for longer ones. Also it is very hard to reassemble the e-brakes with the axle shafts in position. Instead of building my own front bumper.. I cheated and clearanced a stock one to be used. In the process of building rock rails... I still have to pull the shackles off of Casper and Install them on the turd so I can level the ride out.
  25. Thanks TJ. Well Pogress has been made. Front axle is all but bolted in and centered. LOnger brake lines are installed. For right now my shocks are my limit straps  I am sure WIth no shocks I would be stretching my brake lines  Rear axle is in place. :D Disc brake brackets are on.. Going to press new bearings and redrilled retainer plates on tonight. I hope to get the axle shafts in On monday and vehicle back on all 4 tires then too. Hopefully the front has settled out by then.. cause if not.. an extended shackle will get bolted on. Things learned.. Non C clip bolt patterns for the axle retainer plate are the same as D44 parts. It cost 100 bucks (not 50 like quoted) to have the center hole bored out.. and caliper brackets and retainers redrilled. Waiting on the machine shop a week longer then quoted sucks. I suck at taking pics so I will post them when I get back tonight. Lastly waiting to the last minute to finish a project is never a good idea.. especially when a tropical storm/ hurricane is coming, and you have 1 week to finish your junk
