My mom got me two of mine early. Halo: Reach the day it came out, and a small utility trailer several weeks ago, then some boyscout popcorn yesterday. Otherwise I so far I got a Jeep T-shirt, handheld cheese grater, and Halo Encyclopedia from my mother in law, and the wife got me some ivory chopsticks. The rest of Christmas will probably have to wait until we get back up to WI or the rest of my family gets down here.

If you're crafty enough you can change the joint with the shaft still bolted to the bearing, but it's a pain. You just gotta figure out which is a bigger pain... changing the joint with the hub on, or getting the hub off...

Take the shifter out and fill it that way.

I thought the AX-4/5 and AX-15 used different materials for synchros?

I should have a 2wd AX-4 in Marshall that may or may not be any good. Could be good for parts. You can have it if my mom hasn't tossed it yet.

It's got that crappy CL 4.0 V6, I wouldn't get it...

There are a decent amount in the Camdenton area. I saw them fairly often when I lived over there. There's one just up the road from me in Pleasant Hope. Haven't gotten a chance to talk to the owner yet though.

XJ was high pinion until 84-99. Only the 2000 and 2001 XJs are low pinion. All ZJs and TJs are low pinion, however.

Just to clarify... Setting up gears is difficult, setting up used gears(from what I've heard) is even harder. The newer gears should go on the older carrier This is a 97 XJ D30, correct? A ZJ or TJ D30 is low pinion and the gears will not go in an 89 housing.

Doesn't matter what it is, sellers need to provide information if they want to sell anything. As far as I'm concered, if you're selling a vehicle, regardless of driveability/condition you need to provide, at a minimum; Year Model Engine Transmission 4 or 2wd PICTURE
