I will be at Jeep Beach 2015 with the Comanche. Come up and say hello if you will be there!

Considering I was going to put up a $500 bounty for black interior parts... Ahem.
-
You are in Canada and it does not look like a giant pile of rust. I say put a replacement engine in there.

Cherokee Wheel Cylinders - 9 or 10"

If you are not sure what size the drums are then measure them. Acrylic Paint - Isopropyl alcohol will definitely smear it, but it will take a ton to actually remove it. This is the worst thing to come across after sanding a panel that has been previously repaired with the wrong type of paint. I start to wipe it down for repainting and the rag hits the area with acrylic paint instantly sticking to it like dried glue.

I just figured out that the left rear quarter panel was replaced with one off some red Jeep. It is rusting where the panel connects under the plastic step guard, under the inner hatch trim areas, and a few other spots. Otherwise though, the passenger floor looks great now. :| $598.98 plus the cost of the pans. I hate this Jeep by this point.

2x 5mm thick closed cell craft foam sheets glued together, shaped, and glued into place. Helps with that left buttock fatigue. Most XJ seats get a stress rip here in the vinyl. So I patched it!

Duratrac if you drive more on the road. They have ridiculously better wet traction than the BFG.

I believe something like that would be asked in The Pub forum.(Moving it there now.) Though, I would expect everyone around here to give low ball prices. :P

Yep! I pulled the axle, sanded all the rust off, painted it, and reinstalled it with all new bushings. I am working front to back. Those are nearly new rotors on the floor there too. I could not reuse the pads or rotors because they had worn in crooked from the dimples worn into the knuckles.

Thanks for the all rain today I have identified that it is a outside related water leak and not the heater core. I am going to start vetting body shops this week for one that will replace floor pans. Still finding/waiting on someone that can do a PCM flash tune for the thing. Those old Chrysler JTEC PCMs are too smart for piggyback controllers. :/ Have you tried FlyinRyan? He's on thespeedfreaks.net and The Jeep Garage. Yes, he said he was interested in working with me and then I never heard anything back. I ordered a SCT X4 today and plan on picking up their Pro Tuner package to do it myself.

You could do a 1997-2001 XJ center console to get cup holders.
-
None that I see. I went through the same problem with the MJ which I suspect is the same case here. A seam along the metal broke apart far enough to let water get trapped inside. The left side is nearly rust free though. Only a bit of surface rust around the seat mounting points like all XJ/MJs get.
-
Eh, I might have to get someone to do this professionally. I can patch small holes, but this is ridiculous.
-
This was unexpected. :/
-
It fit sitting on its back with the lower rear seat removed. Bonus, it propped up the broken driver seat!

Nope, I sold that lemon. It will not fit in the LJ either since I have a large tool/camper box back there. If it fits in a WJ it should fit in a XJ. They are basically the same dimensions.
-
You could always tie it on the roof rack if it doesn't fit, si? Yep, that is the back up option. I just will not have someone to help me get it down when I get home.
-
Has anyone stuffed a MJ roll bar into the back of a XJ for transport? The overall dimensions looks like it will fit side ways laying on its back.
-
I have five years on my Ryobi Lithium Ion batteries and they still hold a decent charge. I have abused the drill from the original kit.

The 231HD can not be swapped in due to case differences, but the internal parts can. It is just a six gear planetary instead of a three gear along with a wider chain and gear set. I do launches in Full Time 4WD in the MJ and it holds up. It still needs better tuning though.

The eBay description: "Guaranteed working part" Uh huh. Servo is smashed and the bracket was bent up. It was not even the one pictured.
