i have it for sale as a whole unit for 350

 

it comes with everthing needed to bolt in

 

the housing 4.10 gears, 3" coils, 3" shocks, 3" lower control arms, steering, brakes, upper control arms, trac bar and mount...

well i got the leafs on today and put the tires on to see what it looks like.. sorry for the dark pics.. i got done at around 11pm here..

couldnt do much to the truck...it rained today. i got some 2x4" steel for the front/rear bumpers.. but couldnt do much more..

yea iam runnin it like that haha, ill just trim more..

iam runnin the same leafs as him.. i just put my shackles up more so they arent pointed so far back

 

 

mine is no street truck haha

That was sorta a given.

 

 

With cross-over you won't run into the problems I had (inverted T high-steer). I Had the drag link binding on the tie-rod. Then hitting the leaf spring. It was really sweet.

 

My steering is hack. It's on my 'list'.

just a thought, i saw a construction vehicle parked yesterday and noticed the tie-rod ran BEHIND the tubes. :nuts: would that be possible on a rig like yours? seems like it'd be nice and protected

has to have kingpin knuckles to have tierods behind the axle.

 

 

Actually, I think there is a kit to do it with a D44.

 

It can cause a lot more problems than it is worth. If you were to do it, it is advised you design almost the entire front end around that concept...

2" back spacing is massive!

 

It looks great though. I'm tempted to do a leaf swap when I get a new front axle. It looks like a fun project.

haha thanks man its been pretty crazy...and lots of work but wayy worth it.. i love how it looks now... and with all of what ive done..and will do...

lookin sweet man, you plan on buildin a front bumper too or just runnin the crossmember?

yep i got a little done, its raining so i sat in my room and installed the lock right in the 44 carrier.. ill put the 5.13s and all on tonight if it stays dry and not too hot..
