1989 jeep comanche- mildly built
panama red replied to Bubba's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
i like the green. i think it would look better if it was green on top and black on bottem -
he said it does have power locks and windows it also has a sun roof, vent windows and slider rear. wooooo he knew what the j10s were cause i offered him one.
-
it was pretty funny. I called to ask what year it is. He said all proud, its an 88, very rare cause its the last year they made them. I told him they were made till 92, but he insisted that 88 was the last year. He knows what he's talking about, he used to work for a jeep dealership.

yeah thats cool cause its a comanche, just not very scale looking. but check these xjs out. they are from germany. swampedmj will have more info on them. cool video of one... here is a build thread for one... http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthre ... t=cherokee

i towed 88swampedmj's black manche out of a hole he was stuck in. pulled him with my 88 xj. It did fine in 4low, but that is as far as i would take him.
-
well i left him much worse feedback and he still agreed to my request to strike them. It won't count agianst us but anyone can still read what was said.

Try to find a R/T Durango if you're gonna get one at all. 3.92 gears, awd, tow package, f/r swaybars, 1" drop with sport susp., 17" wheels big wide tires, beefed up 5.9 (+10 hp an +15 tq), f/r discs., not to mention the interior and ext. extras. I recently towed my j10 on a full size car hauler. It performed great. nice acceleration, handling, and braking. Not near as nice as my dads 3/4 ton dodge, but it was only an 1/8th the price. I love the durango now.

what good is a top without a windshield. -
if you use google and add site:craigslist.org after your search thenit will search all of craigslist or any site for that matter... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=je ... gslist.org way easier than searching through every city one at a time.

hello to all the other ifsja.org members. fsj's kick @$$

yep thats a gladiator, pretty nice one too. A cheap front axle would be a waggy or chevy with passenger side drop. any 5/5.5 pass. drop front axle would work 44 or 60.

x2 out the guy. give him a couple days to do something then out him.

thats awesome, i shot the video and cole (88swampedmj) was driving his 88. That was before he replaced the entire drivetrain. here is me on the same hole the same day, just going the other direction. http://youtube.com/watch?v=qMzpwyvI2p0

well the feedback was withdrawn, I don't know if it was my several messages on ebay or if he reads this forum, but he has sent me several apology replies and finally withdrew his feedback. The feed back will always be visible but it will say withdrawn and i will still have 100% positive. Later. Last email from ebay... Dear panamared, Your request to withdraw feedback for item 280139988733 has been successfully completed. The feedback comment will now be marked as withdrawn and feedback scores updated. Please note: It may take up to 24 hours for the withdrawal to be reflected in your feedback score. Thank you, eBay

Well it was only a $15 part, but its just the principle. I would have refunded the money or even lowered the shipping if he would have just let me know. The feedback was the first and only response I got from the whole transaction. He screwed up my ebay account for good, so I got a little pissed. All the info I posted was found on google. Its not like I hacked into any personal information. I can't do that.
-
well his wife said he was out of town for a week, so I guess this will all have to wait. oh well i'll just keep digging.

ok.... I listed a comanche taillight on ebay, with a $15 shipping listed right on the auction. This @#$% head bid and won the item, after he paid i shipped it out. thought it was fine. Next thing I know he left me a negative feedback for the item. His feedback was... "too long to ship. over priced shipping charges." If he had a problem with the shipping charges then he either could have asked me about them or not bid on my item. Ha also received the item with in 10-11 days from when i received the payment. So that is why I'm pissed. If he would have just sent me a message or anything before leaving a negative feedback, I would have been more than happy to work with him on resolving this matter. I did leave him a negative feedback and opened a feddback dispute with ebay. but we all know how little that will do. Is $15 to high to ship a taillight across the country? and Is 11 days to long to wait for one from ebay? I had his address from ebay, so i did a reverse lookup found on google and got both his fax and phone number. Does me no good, but atleast i can harrass him if he doesn't comply with the dispute. What a @#$% head!!!

X2, I had half a chub just reading the title. Nice shell of a cab, but you need more chicks to have a title like that.

88 comanche project (continued)
panama red replied to 88swampedmj's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
that sucks. you have to take the caps off then install the ujoint, put the caps in through the holes. You can use a socket and a clamp to "press them in" -
