But the only color I like to see them with is red. Doesn’t matter if it’s an MJ, XJ, or YJ, they look decent as long as the Jeep is red.

FXWorks
Re: removing the side stripes... Depending on how faded the paint is you may be left with stripe shaped bright red lines under where the stripes used to be. I'm not sure I would pull them off if it is original paint. Those stickers look old (style) so have probably been on the Jeep since the 80s. Just a thought.

Not sure, but I've seen other pics from the same year that look the same. I've also heard that the 87s weren't supposed to have a 8 slot grill, but yet I've seen some with 8 slots. Is that info wrong? Or can you easily swap them? This one for example, both the decal and grill look like mine. https://www.carstory.com/detail/1987-Jeep-Comanche-Bristol_PA-1JTMG6411HT132602

Could it be because it seems to be an early one? Maybe AMC didn’t think of having it or accidentally made a run without the diagram?

pizzaman09
Is that vacuum actuator on the passenger side firewall for cruise control?

I’m really curious about it and why that was used. or are you talking about the sphere which would be for the HVAC blend doors.

That is pretty cool that it has cruise on a 4 cylinder.

I have it on both my Jeeps. Later add on with factory parts of course. The cable for the servo is a pain in the butt to find as it’s much longer than the 4.0L.
