exactly.  this is all I see.  but man can you hear them.  Chinooks are NOT quiet.

Now here's a proper flyby. Every few minutes a BTW buzzed the one junkyard in Shreveport. They are not quiet.

Yeah it is, no doubt about it in this picture.

Although in the first picture you can just about make out the 4 twin engine pods.

B52s are awesome. A very old platform but still in service. Says a lot about the guys who designed these back in the day with slide rules with pen and paper.

had a B-17 fly over the freeway on the drive up to mi.  but I forget which state I was in at the time.

Has anyone watched the LEGO Top Gun trailer? G showed it to me this morning and I'll have to say- that's perdy cool! It kinda sorta fits with fly-bys, maybe.

A few years ago we were up in the mountains camping on Sunday afternoon, getting ready to leave, looking at smoke developing from a foothills fire maybe 30-40 miles away - kinda sorta in the direction of home. Got home, and the fire was about 2 miles from our house. These guys were flying sorties about 300 feet above our house every 20 minutes or so. Did the job and knocked the fire down.  Best aircraft photos in flight I ever captured; but I would rather not have another opportunity...

Not the greatest pictures I live 30 minutes west from Indian Town Gap in Pa. They almost always fly around the Hershey area but once in a while they come me over head here
