Floor joists are done but I’ve got sleepers to add on top of them. Plan is to use rubber pavers (probably?) for the floor.

 

 

Then to start on the roof.

Subfloor is done. Rubber pavers will go down for good once the roof is up. Started figuring that also. Got the first joist done for the template.

I like when there’s a mental image of something just being there and then one day it is. I’ve pictured this little deck for years now! Floor tomorrow. Maybe start on a railing this weekend too? I need to run conduit for an outlet and then I’ve got some additional steps to add behind the house.

I like using scrap for projects. This was old pipe and pallet racking shelves.

 

 

Currently has paint drying. I’ll flip it over and paint the other side later in the week.

Probably as done as it’ll be for the year.

 

 

We added plants, furniture, power, and I tied in the steps around it.

 

 

Maybe add a propane fire pit? We’ll see once fall comes around.

Absolutely! We got a bit of snow already but it obviously didn’t stick around. The peak has gotten dusted pretty good and will probably keep most of it through the season. Getting cooler all together though! Been well under freezing most nights lately.

Yes! I’ve got a raised garden area I need to get to and a retaining wall down by the shop. Maybe work on trim in the house… maybe. 

 

Yesterday I used up some scraps and whipped up a new front step that I have been putting off for years. 
 

 

Needs a plant in the corner now.
